Want to get in the Zone? The Discraft Zone is a slim putter with a thick rim (1.2cm) that gives you something to hold on to. This is a very overstable putter that is good for headwinds, strategic fades, forehand throws, flick putts, and slamming into chains at just the right angle. Many Discraft enthusiasts will have a Zone in their bag as a putter that gets them out of a situation where a flick, or sidearm putt or approach shot is their only option. Being so overstable, this disc can handle the torque that a flick will put on it! The Zone is considered one of the best Discraft Discs available today.

Feel- Shallow throwing putter that feels amazing in the hand. Every Zone i've bought has always been flat or puddle topped but It really suits this type of disc and makes it more consistent. The TI plastic feels great.. it is grippy, flexible, and very durable.

Flight- This zone is not like a typical zone's flight numbers. When thrown flat with power this disc will hold straight and fade at the end of its flight. It will not be as heavy of a fade, however, It is still torque resistant and will still flex out of anhyzer.  (Zone - Titanium Flx - 170g+)

Use- On the tee pad and for approach shots for about 275'. This is THE disc. This plastic will also keep the disc from skipping so much on the green.

It's been said by so many other players and I'm just going to echo it, the Zone is MONEY. It does what it's meant to and it's reliable. I use my Ti Flx Zone for wide open upshots, tight flexes through trees, upshots to get up and around trees, hills, objects. For doing only one thing it's actually an incredible versitile disc. Even if you are not a fan of the Zone itself I think everyone needs this type of disc in their bag. I've tried a few Zone clones or similar molds but something about the Zone is just right for me. It's always going to have a spot in my bag!

to start I have no clue how this disc putts. I use it only for approach shots under 250 feet. this disc doesn't care if it's windy, raining doesn't matter it will go as far as you put power to it. works great for forehand or backhand and even feels comfortable in the hand forehand. you can put 100% power into this disc and it will never turn over. great for flex shots in the woods where you need the disc to just drop after its flight is complete and this will do just that. glide definatly seems to be lower than a 3 at least in the tiFLX plastic. crystal and glo plastics seem to have a bit more glide but not as much fade.

Disc - Titanium Swirl FLX Zone

Just to pre-frame things, I have been playing more seriously for around 1 year but have played on and off for about 8 years. I am right hand dominant with a pretty even split between forehand and backhand shots. My honest drive distance is around 275-300 feet with a max of around 350 on a good day.

After a few throws, I knew this disc was going in the bag. There is a reason the Zone has been widely used for years and I have fully jumped on that bandwagon. I currently have 2 zones in my bag, 1 Z-plastic and now this Ti Swirl FLX. The regular Z plastic I carry for skip shots and heavily wooded courses. I got the FLX Zone to see how it would fly different and I was not disappointed! For me, it was slightly less stable and had less ground play than the Z plastic. Great to stick good upshots and didn't glide past the basket like some putt/approach discs. Also performed well in the wind. Ti FLX Plastic feels awesome as is it firm but not hard plasticy feel like the z plastic.

This disc is an approach master and will help you hit your lines, stay closer to the basket, and get lower scores.

Whenever my friends get into disc golf and ask on my recommendations for discs, the first disc I recommend is always the Zone. This disc has come out of my bag for almost every hole I have played since buying it. I now bag three zones, two in the Z plastic and one in the Titanium plastic. This disc is the definition of consistency. Whenever I throw this disc, I know exactly where it is going to land. It's incredibly consistent fade makes it a great approach disc that is very versatile. I rarely find an approach shot that I cannot use this disc for.

Backhand: This disc has become my go-to disc for backhand approaches. I regularly put this disc on some hyzer and let it fade right to the basket. If I keep this disc flat, especially with the Z plastic, I can expect a nice skip which can be easily controlled. With more extreme angles, the disc will hit the ground and roll in a small circle, rarely more than a foot or two besides where it hit the ground. The disc's overstability also makes it perfect for flex shots, which I learned to throw with this disc. It will hold the anhyzer angle for a good bit, but consistently fades left at the end of the flight.

Forehand: As a primarily backhand player, there are few discs I feel comfortable flicking. The zone is one, however, that i can confidently flick for approaches. When thrown flat, the disc flies straight and fades at the end of the flight. Similarly to the backhand, forehand flex shots work excellently with this disc.

Putting: I only include this category because this disc is technically a putter. I don't particularly love putting with the Zone, and I think of it only as a throwing putter/ approach disc. The overstability of the disc is noticeable with my putting style and usually leaves my disc falling left of the basket. That being said, certain putts will lend themselves to this type of disc and I have many friends who putt with this disc regularly.

Conclusion: The Zone is probably my favorite disc in my bag. The consistent fade I see with this disc in addition to the variety of shots that can be performed with it makes it a necessity in my bag. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced player, I think that the Zone is well worth picking up.

Such an amazing, one-of-a-kind approach disc. This is by far the most useful disc I have ever used. Before I found the Zone, I was throwing a flat top, beadless Gator that I'd found out of a used stack when I first began playing. Little did I know, that's an OOP disc, so when I lost it I had to find a totally new replacement. I thought that I would struggle to ever find an equivalent, when in reality the Zone turned out to be even more reliable. I bag it exclusively for forehand approach shots, which is my most accurate way to attack the basket. With the overstable flight pattern, I can hang it out over the left side of the basket and count on it fading back every time. Sits very, very comfortably in the hand since it's flat on top and has no bead. I've thrown an ESP before which holds a very clean line, but I like the Ti FLX I have now because it sits when it lands with little to no skip. That makes it so that I can drop 100 foot approaches at the foot of the basket time after time. I love the Zone, no idea what I'd do without it except add strokes to my scores.
