Want to get in the Zone? The Discraft Zone is a slim putter with a thick rim (1.2cm) that gives you something to hold on to. This is a very overstable putter that is good for headwinds, strategic fades, forehand throws, flick putts, and slamming into chains at just the right angle. Many Discraft enthusiasts will have a Zone in their bag as a putter that gets them out of a situation where a flick, or sidearm putt or approach shot is their only option. Being so overstable, this disc can handle the torque that a flick will put on it! The Zone is considered one of the best Discraft Discs available today.

Dont have much too say about the Zone that hasn't already been said. The perfect approach disc. Not too deep, not too shallow. Not too overstable, but not too straight. This disc has never left my hand and done something that I have felt like it shouldn't have.

I tried multiple different Zone clones, from the Kastaplast Jarn to the Clash Discs Mint, but they either didn't fly quite the way I wanted or didn't feel good in the hand. I finally gave in and picked up a Titanium Zone. It flew exactly how I wanted, and felt good in the hand, the plastic was just a bit too slippery. I tried a Z Glo version after that and liked it also, but it was a bit stiff in the hand. I've always loved the Big Z Plastic for my drivers and saw a Big Z FLX Zone on sale so I figured I'd give it a shot. After a few throws, I knew it was definitely my Goldilocks plastic.

The ones I've gotten all have somewhat of a puddle-top, so they retain that Grade-A Beef you're looking for in a Zone. Then with the Big Z FLX, I get fantastic grip and the FLX aspect feels amazing, especially for forehands, which is primarily what I use this for.

Outside of that, it's pretty much your typical Zone. If you like a bit gummier feel in your hand, different texture but similar density to K1 or Clash Steady, with the same over-stability you'd expect out of a Zone, give the Big Z FLX a shot. You won't be disappointed.

I have to say I do love the zone. I bag a pig and an aviar x3, but the zone is great when I throw it. Super overstable and super consistent. It hasn't really broken in at all, and I believe for a disc like this that is very desirable. The Z flex plastic feels great. I think it runs more overstable than most, so this is a meat hook. I can't get any turn out of this at all which is perfect!
