    Crazy Tuff Details

Discraft's Crazy Tuff plastic was released as a limited edition for the Ledgestone Edition CT Challenger. This plastic feels a lot like the base-line Pro-D plastic, but is super tough.

This is a review for the Crazy Tuff.

This is one of the most interesting Zones out there. It starts out overstable but beats into a very straight flier.  CT can be a little slick compared to a lot of the other Discraft plastics.

As a general note, the Zone is very good. Relialy overstable and flies well forehand and backhand. Small diameter so it feels good in a lot of people's hands.

The zone is one of the best if not the best approach disc on the market. I have two in the bag, one in ESP and the other in jawbreaker. The jawbreaker feels great in the hand and beats in very quickly. My go to approach disc when I want it to stick next to the basket. It has some slight turn but always comes back. My ESP is my overstable approach, it is solid in the wind and good for flex shots. The zone feels great for forehands and backhands and will take all the power. Overall, I recommend and will probably be purchasing more.

I have had and thrown several zones (z line, ESP, jawbreaker and crazy tough). The crazy tough zone is most similar to jawbreaker in flight. Definitely not as overstable as the Z or ESP. It will fly much straighter and longer when thrown with power and sometimes will finish flat without the hard fade characteristic of the zone.
