The gateway wizard is over all the best disc in my bag. As a putter the wizard is very predictable having a good glide but very consistent drop that allows for either a lob style push putt or spin putt depending on your comfort and putting situation. The stability of this putter allows you to use it as a straight point and shoot, or to shape putts around trees I have had great success with both anhyzer and hyzer putts using the wizard also close and shot range this is the only disc you need. As far as using the wiZard as an approach disc what else can I say but straight!!!!! If I am staring down a 250 foot tunnel I would never turn to another disc, just pop my wizard out of the putter pocket and throw it high and hard on a hyzer straight at my target and it will stand up go flat and run chains everytime. This disc really should be a staple in every players bag and accounts for about 25-30 of my strokes in an average 18 hole round.

I have ordered 2 different sets of OG Wizards, with one set coming out nice and firm with great grip, and the other set coming out significantly softer with even more grip. I was getting a cleaner release with the firmer set then I was the softer set. The firm set holds up in just about any headwind putt while the softer set was definitely affected by the wind a lot more. OG plastic doesn't break in nearly as quick as the super soft plastic and it doesn't deform as quick as the other plastics by Gateway. Very comfortable beaded putter and straight flyer with a slight fade when thrown!

This putter fundamentally changed my game after it was recommended to me by David McCormack at Pickin' on Picknic last year in Missouri. The organic plastic has an incredible grip, both in-hand and on-chain, and it is very predictable/forgiving for beginners. I made my first 40' putt with it, and now rely on it for almost every putt and approach shot.

great disc in so many plastics, very reliable, great balance in stability, just a very workable disc. you can really snap your putts and hit from outside the circle with the glide on this thing.

Reading all of the hype about the Wizard made me want to try one. I've never owned any Gateway discs before. My discs are mainly Innova and Axiom. I'm a beginner to intermediate disc golfer. I have tried the Innova McPro Aviar and it throws too low for me. It always hits in the pole under the basket. I've tried the Axiom Soft Envy since so many like it,  but I have so much trouble with that disc getting swept up into the wind and over shooting the basket.  I have even tried a Dynamic Discs orange scented Warden. That Putter did better for me than any other, but it was still iffy if the wind the strong that day. The Organic Wizard is the only putter I have that I feel confident using to make putts in the wind, slightly far away, and is perfect grippy. It has this chalky feel to it that never slips out of my hand. It just glides straight into the basket for me. I'm extremely impressed by it.

A decent overstable putter. After the McPro Aviar came out, I don't carry the Wizard anymore.
