    Plastic: Hemp SSS

    Weight: 173g

Feel: An excellent plastic on one of the sport's most popular putters.  The 3S Hemp is a very soft blend, that has a decent amount of give to it.  The flight plate is flat to puddle (on mine at least) and really allows you to dig into it even with a fan grip.  Also, the bead with the putter's beefiness lends to a very "full" feeling in the hand which translates to confidence when I line up a putt or throw.

Flight: This putter can certainly hold up to some power, even into a decent headwind.  The Wizard will flip up to flat, but won't turn over much at all, and then it'll have a smooth putter-style fade at the end.  While this isn't in my bag, I have had to trust it a few times into some wind, and it hasn't disappointed.

Conclusion: A very well established putter, and rightfully so.  This flies mostly the same as my SS Hemp Wizard, but will most likely beat-in faster, though I tend to prefer more neutral putters anyway.  With a solid fan grip, this putter fills up the hand with soft, grippy plastic and a nice bead, and lets you have that confidence when staring down a basket.

Sidenote: As a putter, it behaves like any other beaded OS disc.

So I am very new to Disc Golf, and putting was very unusual to me. It was weird to throw a disc close at a basket. My friend let me try his Stupid Super Soft Wizard and it was immediate comfort on first throw. If you are looking for something that the grip gives you the feeling of complete control when putting, then you need this plastic. Stupid Super Soft is the best putting plastic if you want to feel like you have complete control of your putter.

Favorite gateway plastic yet. I grew up in STL and I've been able to check out the gateway factory, get a feel for most of their plastics. It's such a nice medium between their chalkier and rubbery stuff. Slightly less stable than ordinary runs, a little slimmer, and the dome dips a bit in the middle in my set of 3 (which I prefer).
They definitely beat in quick, which I personally like, but that may be a pro or a con depending on your preference.
