I started with the Voodoo and still love it, but tried out several other putters (Mint Profit and Legacy Prowler among others) and discovered i preferred a beaded putter. So naturally i had to try a Wizard. There are so many plastic options that it can almost be overwhelming, but it offers the ability to have the same mold in different plastics for different situations. I have the Wizard in Diamond for throwing, Nylon for approach, and i putt with Organic SS or SSS. There are hemp blends, firm, pure white, Eraser, Money, SSSS, and probably others that i'm not thinking of. Fantastic putter.

This is my favorite plastic blend for throwing Wizards.  Lots of grip and it stands up well to tree hits.

Just make sure you have a Wizard in your bag. Great disc, throwing and putting. I have it in Gateway's Nylon Blend plastic which i think i could use the disc to dig a hole on the fairway and not affect the disc at all. I also have a suregrip which is not as durable, but nothing is going to touch the nylon blend.

Best beaded putting putter in disc golf. Great grip in a variety of plastics, sticks to the chains, and is just stable enough to be forgiving with minor form errors.

I would not throw this putter as I believe there are better options out there for throwers (Crown, Luna, P2) but I wouldn't use anything else to putt.

    Nylon Blend. 176g.

Part of the fun of Gateway putters is the variety of plastics. I didn't consider the Nylon Blend to be too exciting on paper, but went ahead and picked one up. As soon as it showed up, it made my bag. Why? The nylon blend offers a semi-chalky texture akin to Gateway's Lunar plastic; however, it also features a stiff flight plate akin to my Special Blend Wizard, making this my go-to disc for approaches and longer throws. It replaces the Pure White / Diamond Wizards for this purpose, with Nylon Blend falling in between the two in stiffness, but with a more favorable hand feel.

Only reason I'm knocking one star off the review is Gateway's inconsistency in plastics, batch to batch.

My nylon blend, 175g, has a nice flat top and flex feels between SS and SSS. It has that grippy/rough/give feel that I like where your thumb rests on the edge of the flight plate. You know you're holding a Gateway putter. It fades out about like you'd expect from the flight numbers, and sits down and stays when it lands. This is a great disc from Gateway. Infinitediscs Black Friday Wizards are on point. Get yourself one.

Nylon blend is between ss an sss from Gateway. That being said, it has a firm feel in the hand.
