Man, the wizard is one of my favorite putters I have ever tried. The chalk plastic-type is my favorite for many reasons. First, living in the south, the weather can be extremely hot in the summer and the chalk continues to have an amazing grip even with sweaty hands. Second, during the winter, you still have great grip and tackiness of the chalk but stiffens up and feels like SS (Super Soft) or softer. Chalk is soft enough to absorb the impact when it hits the ground and sits right where it landed. It is very hard to compare this to any other plastic-type from other brands out there but it is definitely worth a try if you like beaded putters. The only complaint is it might break in fairly quickly, but it is hard to tell.

The Wizard is my go-to putter and the Chalk blend is my personal favorite, having tried nearly every type of plastic available.  The grip is similar to that of a Super Soft Wizard, but the plastic feels more durable and maybe even a bit stiffer, depending on the blend you're comparing it to.  If it gets dusty or sandy it gets really slippery, but it seems any amount of moisture just adds grip.  I don't "throw" with it, but I imagine it would leave a pretty decent gouge in the plastic if you hit a tree with it on a full throw.  This plastic lends itself to putting a lot better than throwing, at least for me.
