Nice Disc.  It really does glide...  Flies strait - can throw on various lines and have them hold.  Feels good in the hand.  Easy to control.  Exactly what one would want from a Fairway Driver.

I just recently started throwing a River, and I must say that I am impressed. As a player that focuses more on control and precission rather than throwing bombs, I believe I'll be using the River frequently. The glide on this disc is beautiful to watch, and however you throw it, the disc seems to hold the line very nicely. If I release it straight, then it really keeps that straight flight path with a slight S-curve. If I release it with a little anhyzer then it stays on that angle without trying to force it's way back. I haven't used the disc a lot, but I get a feeling that it is a disc that will be a slave to my throwing technique, as long as I don't need a lot of distance or a fast-moving disc. The River has a nice dome, so the glide is incredible, and I like that it doesn't fly too fast because the dye design on this baby makes it a beauty to watch soar through the air.

PS. I'm naming my disc "River Tam" after the character in Firefly / Serenity. "She always did love to dance."
