The Star Lite Boss uses lightweight Star plastic with microbubbles, making it ideal for lower power players chasing max distance. The Innova Star Lite Boss retains the Boss shape but with more glide and a straighter flight path.

I have a 137g Star Lite Boss. This has managed to stay in my bag mainly due to the fact that if I'm tired or sore I can drive this with minimal effort and get decent distance. Additionally on days when I'm feeling fine it makes a great tailwind driver. On a tailwind you can put maximum power into it and get excellent distance. The Boss is just a slightly faster Destroyer. A favorite for powerful arms in it's higher weights. I wouldn't recommend it for newer players, mainly because high speed discs don't really work well until form and power develop.

I picked up a StarLite Boss in 158g and this is the only disc I can throw farther than my Destroyers. The flight pattern is almost identical, but this thing actually goes out further for me before it hooks - and thats what I use it for. If Im staring at a corridor of trees and Im not sure if I'm going to make it down the line with my Destroyer before I hook, I pull out my Boss and flick it for all Im worth. :) The StarLite plastic is grippy and soft. GStar plastic is awesome, but didnt do much to improve grip. The StarLite is actually grippy for me, but it also started to feel pretty gummy and thin in 90+ degree weather.
