I also have a 170 yellow echo star easily the flippiest boss I've ever thrown and its still breaking in. This disc is easy distance for me forehand i have to put a little hyzer on it for tunnel shots but it bombs get you one if you can echo star is the best plastic in the game imo

I love the Boss in Echo Star palstic. I have a yellow 170 gram and it is the most stable Boss I own out of the box. I've really noticed the stability differance this plastic provides I would rate the Boss In Echo Star at 13/5/-1.5/2.5 I can get a bit of turn out of it especially when I'm giving it an up high anney for distance but it definitly doesn't give me the stall/ dive out at the end of flight like my star or blizzard Boss's, it's more forward penetrating. Further when thrown on a hyzer it holds it longer and gets more distance before succumbing to the low speed turn. I've had this disc flip on me in a strong headwind/ having bad form on my release but this was only when I was really pushing it. I'll have to see how the echo star holds up over time but this has been an amazing disc for me for the past two months and hasn't shown any change in flight even after I have crushed it into more than a few trees. (I average about 330 feet top out just under 400)

Just got myself an already broken-in 174g Echo Star Boss as a replacement for my destroyer and used it today as my main distance driver. As I am still adjusting to the disc and how it feels in my hand I ended up releasing early pretty much every time and that's a problem with me not the disc. The crazy part, is the distance the disc still got even with that early release. I typically can drive RHBH 300-320 ft with 340ft at the top end (no wind/elevation assistance) of my ability and arm speed, but even with an early release on the boss I was still hitting that same average distance. The one time I threw it hard and properly it flew so well it soldified itself as my go to driver unless I magically stumble upon a wraith or destroyer. I still think I would be better off with a Destroyer or Wraith, but given the distance I am getting this is more than fine for now. I will update this once I have played with it more, attempted to forehand it, etc. but for now this disc is living up to expectations.
