    Blizzard X-Out Details

When Innova's factory makes minor errors in manufacturing or hot stamping on Blizzard Champion discs, these discs are classified as Blizzard X-Outs. Innova Blizzard plastic allows traditional disc models to be manufactured in lighter weights. This plastic typically has noticable air bubbles.

The Blizzard Champion Boss is a completely different animal from any other plastic. Due to the lightweight, when thrown with anything over 350 ft of power, it turns over and struggles to fade back. While some may find this good for turnover backhands, I have found that turnover backhands are usually more constant with discs that are meant to have a stable to under stable flight. The slight fight back that the 3 fade has makes it a little less predictable than a true under stable disc. I usually prefer lightweight high speed discs to use for forehands, but all of the Blizzard Champion Boss I have come across have significant dome making them very uncomfortable for forehand.  However, this thing absolutely bombs on huge anhyzer throws, and I think that is really the purpose of this disc. I can also see this as a potential go-to driver for a newer player who has good snap, but definitely horrible for a new player who has no snap.

There are some discs as a beginner you just know are great discs even though you can barely use them. My Blizzard Champion Boss is one of them. With my current power, this is a straight flier with a strong fade. When thrown at the right angle, it fades predictably and without spiking. It is currently the disc I can drive the furthest, though I lack some consistency. Being super light and still durable, I would suggest any begginer or developing player who wants to try this to get the Blizzard Champion version. It has rammed into mud, rocks, and had a few hard tree kicks with no problem. Would reccomend.

Once you get used to throwing this disc, you will love it. It has a thick rim and it feels great in my hand. It is pretty overstable but if thrown right, this thing will go far.

As a RHBH thrower, I only threw this as a driver from the tee and I consistently get 350-400 ft in distance. With other drivers I couldn't get past 350 and with other high speed drivers I seem to have less accuracy.

The blizzard X-out plastic has taken a little beating so far but this disc definitely has earned a place in my bag

Very great disc when there is little wind. This and the crank are pretty much the 2 farthest discs I've thrown. This gets to about 400 feet for me, where the star destroyer is closer to 370 and the thunderbirds are getting me around 350. Great disc until you have to throw it in the wind. I use the blizzard plastic at around 138 for weight, and it works very well on forehand and backhand. Not sure how well this will work for lower armspeeds but it works wonders for an intermediate player.

picked up a blizzard xout in 158 and this thing goes forever. light enough to hyzer flip, fast enough to go the distance. if you like the -1 high speed turn 3 fade pattern, do yourself a favor and try it out.
