    Electron Soft Details

Electron Soft is MVP's mid-grade plastic, but with more flex and surface grip. While it is not a very durable plastic, it is liked for putters if you like great grip and flexible discs.

The ion was my first putter.I carry two electron soft ion's.I love them both. They are very flippy. When I throw a forehand with it I almost have to throw it upside down.I have hit the chains with it before on a drive. It is a great driving putter and putting putter alike.I holds any angle you throw it on.It is an all around great disc.

This is by far the best putter I've tried. I also carry a 4S Wizard. The Wizard is softer but the Electron Soft Ion is as soft as I need. It performs well in wind and will hold whatever line on which I put it. As with all MVP discs, the break-in period is a long one. I don't know what flight pattern this disc will take as it breaks in, but I highly doubt it will be any less useful. I plan on getting a few more ES Ions.

For my putting style, I rely a lot on the way the disc releases from my thumb. Having a somewhat soft grippy putter is essential for me. Proton Soft plastic was almost good enough for me, but if it got slightly wet became too slippery. I love throwing Gyro discs for long putts and used a Proton Soft Anode for a while. When the Atom came out in Electron Soft plastic, I liked the feel of it so much that I almost switched to it as my primary putter, but the profile was just a little bit too shallow for what I was comfortable with.

With the Ion now available in Proton Soft, I have a MVP putting putter that I feel 100% confident with. This disc is super straight and releases my hand just right. Using it as my putter in league on Saturday I made nearly every putt. Great addition from MVP!
