    The Ion is one of MVP’s high glide discs with just a small amount of overstable fade at the end of the flight. These characteristics make this a great long-range putter for disc golfers of all skill levels. This disc is available in each of MVP’s plastics, including their Eclipse plastic, which glows in the dark. It is also available in the soft Proton plastic.

    Electron Misprint Details

    This is the misprinted version of MVP's baseline plastic.  Feels amazing, but it is not made for taking a beating at high velocity. Misprinted discs have stamp imperfections and sometimes superficial blemishes, while still maintaining the same flight and feel as a non-misprinted discs in the same plastic at a discounted price.

    This disc is something weird and special. It likes to handle power, and despite a pretty beastly bead it is easy to get a smooth release for that power. It is not a forgiving disc of bad form though. I'm reluctant to say it's a has any fade which is why I only have it as a 0.5, but it definitely doesn't haven't any turn. Thrown flat, nose straight ahead and strong but 3 speed appropriate power this disc will go exactly where you send it. I think it might be one of the most point and shoot discs I've ever thrown. Took a lot of getting used to it to figure it out. It could also be a great get out of jail disc for utility shots like flicks or rollers when you find yourself off fairway in the woods. If you've thrown an Innova XT Nova and liked or at least know how that disc flies, then the Ion is the exact same but with a bead.
