This here disc is such a classic, surely you've got to enjoy that majestic flight. I throw it on a forehand, and it goes quite straight and then goes slightly to the right. What more could you ask for! Nothing. Nothing more I tell you!

This is my fairway finder, I bag a 167g Star, and it bombs. I can hammer it flat and get it to turn but I know it was hook up at the end. This a great disc for anyone looking for a fairway finder or a good intro to overstable fairways

This was a staple in my bag as a beginner, and it continues to be a disc that I reach for now. It has reliable fade when throw flat, even when thrown at a speed quicker than a 7. This disc creates great lines and opportunities for me on all sorts of different shots.

Great overall neutral flight (backhand and beginner). Starts out a little understable but fades back to the original line. Very beginner friendly and forgiving. Be mindful of the wind! A change in plastic changes the flight. GStar is definetly more understable and whereas the Champion plastic is more stable.

Great begginer disc, bag a star one and really like to use it for all distances. Flys well on backhand and forehand even if you have a noodle arm. I throw for tunnel shots to wide open hucks. All I can say is that if you're looking for a reliable fairway/control, this is your disc.

Pros: Good distance, great in wind, begginer friendly.

Cons: Star is more understable for more experienced players.

The teebird is a disc that has been in my bag for years. i have mutliple in my bag at all time, in multiple stages of wear. the main reason i love this disc is because it is just so consitant.  Its a disc i can lean on in a open or a wooded course. its a disc that i can put full power on, throw stand stills, or touch upshots. There is a reason that every other company has a clone of this disc.

I have one Teebird in Star plastic and on in Champion Plastic. The rim size and feel is my favorite of all control drivers. Very easy to grip and spin the disc. The different types of plastic create different stabilities and glide.

    Star Teebird - 7 speed - 6 glide - 0 turn - 2 fade
This disc glides forever. I can get within about 30 feet of my distance drivers (my average stock hyzer distance driver goes 380ft). It is my farthest flying stable control driver. I prefer to use this disc on every hole it can reach in the open, and every max distance shot required in the woods requiring tight gap hits. This is my most accurent driver in my bag.

    Champion Teebird - 7 speed - 4 glide - 0 turn - 3 fade
This disc flies like a slightly beat in firebird. I prefer to us it instead of my firebird because it is more comfortable to grip in hand, flies just as far and fades just as hard.

The good part about these innova disc is that they beat in slowly. I can see the star teebird eventually turning into a replacement for my understable valkyrie, and my champion teebird will eventually fit into my star teebird slot.

Often imitated, never duplicated. Reliable as they come. The Teebird is a pure classic and quite possibly my favorite mold. Super comfortable in the hand, glide for days, reliable hook up fade, and major distance potential for a 7 speed. Basically every manufacturer has a Teebird clone now, but I still rock the original. One reason I bag it over alternatives such as the Explorer is the availability. Comes in just about every concievable plastic and weight Innova has ever produced. Everyone has their preferences there, but I bag a Star and a Champion at all times. I also really like the Jen Allen Color Glow Teebirds. Heck, some old heads still swear by cycling DX 'birds. True TB fans will talk your ear off about their favorite run if given the opportunity - 11x this, Brinster bird that (and some of those runs are indeed fantastic) - but quite honestly, give me a stock Star and a stock Champ and I'm golden.

In Champion these start out a little beefy, but after you knock the "new" off of them, they are pretty true to numbers. Star I feel like starts off the truest to numbers, maybe a little straighter. I like bagging a slightly lighter Star in the 160s to make it a little straighter compliment off the shelf. Teebird's are one of the great "seasoning" discs, because as they beat in they gradually get straighter while still maintaing HSS resistance to turn. They will hold the sweet spot in premium plastic for a long time. Eventually (after a lot of use), they will even start to develop a bit of turn. Unlike other discs where they need to be seasoned in order to reach the money stage, Teebirds are great and useful discs at all stages of life. Good first "overstable" driver for beginners, excellent workhorse straight to fade fairway for intermediate and above. I bag at least two at all times and throw them on just about every hole I can.

This has been my favorite disc as a beginner transitioning into more intermediate level play. The disc is super reliable. If it doesn't go where it's supposed to, I know I made a mistake. It has been my go to for any hole 250+ ft that has and finish to the left (right hand backhand). Super useful when I shank drives off the first available tree and need a bigger upshot as well lol...

Definitely recommend this disc for any beginner trying to improve their game.

    STAR Plastic TeeBird 173g  Backhand

this disc is STABLE,   but i wanted it to be,   Star Plastic = 0.5 to +1 in FADE

This disc drives into medium winds without fear,  flexes perfect S shots in no wind. Because more stable, less glide.  Long power drives to the pin.

Rated as not beginner, because might cause newbies to over yank and create bad form.

However i love it.   Closest thing to a badass old School Cyclone ( discraft )

Love the Plastic. good feel , grip and durable, slow break in if at all.

Have really enjoyed using this disc. This disc can hold a reliable hyzer line for a fairway driver. The more that I have used this disc, the more stable it has become and it has become one of my go-to's for straight fairway shots. I do have a tendency to turn this disc over as it is quite stable and I like to throw hard.

A staple fairway. For me, fresh off the shelf in Star plastic it flies dead straight and finishes pretty reliably and hard to the left. After a long period of playing the woods, it flies dead straight with no turn and minimal fade. It's very consistent and the perfect disc to cycle.

Oh, the memories! Like most players starting out, I had my first real success on the course with an Innova Teebird.  It's like the hatchback car with lay-down back seats I drove in high school. There will always be a special place in my heart for the Teebird (and the Oldsmobile Starfire GT). Perfect for new players in DX plastic, and a workhorse for intermediate players in Star or Champion plastic. A true classic.

This is still my favorite disc! I bought a DX Teebird after my first round ever.  It stayed in my bag for a couple years. It flew lazer straight after getting beat in. In that time I had bought a couple Star and Champion models too in different weights and rotated them in and out.  After hitting a few trees the DX will start to become understable, which in my opinion helps newer players get what they might be looking for in a straight flying disc.  The 172gr Star plastic seems to be the sweet spot to get it to fly the way I want it.  It is always the one I pick when we decide to play one disc rounds! The swiss army knife in the Innova line up.

I personally bag the teebird in Star plastic because it is a really reliable fairway driver and pretty darn straight as well. It does have way more of a finish to the left throwing RHBH than the TL so if you are looking for a more dead straight of a disc then check out its sister, the TL. It does really well when released on a slight hisser. You can always trust its clean finish to the left all the way to the circle. I have found its even pretty good in some moderate headwinds. Although if you are looking for a fairway driver that is the best and most straight in bigger headwinds than check out the firebird.

A must have in any intermediate and below bag. As I get more and more people into disc golf this disc is part of what I suggest is a must-have. It fills the role of the reliable fade left (RHBH). It's great ani shots and to give a sense of saftey to flat shots with nasty right hand rough. It bags nicely with a Leopard and/or Leopard3 and a Mako3. These disks cover all the bases all the way up to about 300+ feet.

    170g Star Plastic

What an amazing disc. I believe everyone who has thrown Innova plastic has thrown this mold at some point. An incredibly accurate, predictable flight make it easy to know when you want to take it out for a spin. It can deal with most wind conditions, and will give you confidence in all settings. When you're unsure of what to throw, take out the Teebird and find your bearings.

Beginners will fall in love with this disc immediately. It will more than likely become their go to disc for most shots. While you shouldn't start with Fairway Drivers early on, it's not a disc that will penalize you for early usage.

I bagged two in Star plastic until I grew into the Thunderbird which took over the overstable slot in my bag.

Pros: Go to Fairway for most situations. Beginner friendly. Reliable disc.

    Cons: None to speak of.

I began playing 3 months ago.  And since then the Tee Bird has become my go to driver.  I have tried it in DX and Star plastic.  As a beginner, the arm speed isn't tremendous but the Tee Bird helps get the most out of every throw.  I have tried other discs and makers but so far the Tee Bird is the most predictable.  Mr. Miyagi said "If do right no can defense" well I say "If thrown the right way it'll fly all day". Get yourself a Tee Bird you wont regret it.

The Teebird is my main fairway driver for just about anything other than high winds and serious turnovers. It is one of the most consistent fairway drivers ever created due to the perfect blend of stability, glide, and fade. When mine started (175g Champion Teebird plus), it was a touch overstable and has since settled into a very nice and VERY straight flyer. Yesterday, on a 320ft hole, I threw a dead straight drive that faded slightly at the end to park 3 feet from the basket... and that's common for this disc - very straight and very accurate. Many players keep several of these in their bags at various stages of wear to achieve different stability levels for different types of shots. It is one of the most consistent and versatile drivers on the market. If I could only keep 1 driver, it would be the Teebird. Note: my disc is the Teebird+ (plus mold), which has a slanted inner rim. I did NOT like it at first because the rim felt different (thicker and slanted) than all of my other discs which led to inconsistency. After a while, I learned how to throw it and now it's one of my favorites! I have heard that the + mold is slightly more stable (I would hesitate to call any Teebird overstable) than the standard mold, but I don't have the experience to tell whether or not this is true. The only other Teebird I have ever thrown to compare it to was a 165g DX Teebird that I had for 3 days before losing it [sad face]. The 175 Champion plus is a great deal more "overstable" than that disc (which is to be expected being heavier and in champion plastic). However, both discs are fantastic. If you don't have a Teebird get one

there is a reason this disc is a classic, and that there are no bad reviews of the teebird. Consistent distance with a controllable amount of fade, and once beat in they become dead straight. The flight numbers are true for a disc that is brand new, but eventually, that fade will become smaller, but there will be no turn that appears (or at least for me) in its flight. The Teebird is my go-to for wooded backhands, and has its spot for forehands as well, but is far more appreciated as a backhand disc due to its domeyness of.

Many people know the Teebird and for good reason. The Teebird is THE definitive fairway driver if you let it be. It is the disc that other brands benchmarked for their own fairway drivers. The stability allows for predictable flight patterns all around. It can hyzer, anhyzer or just fly straight. It is also a good forehand disc if a little understable at times.

My star teebird lasted me years, and would have for a year or two more if a river didn't take claim. The champion variant is more overstable, but still effective.

It can more or less be said that a Teebird can always fit in someone's bag and is never a bad choice.

The teebird was my first disc. With terrible form, I could rip this disc and still get 300+ feet out of it, occasionally getting much better scores than I thought I could get on far holes. It's trustworthy flight path makes it super beginner-friendly and taught be how to throw flat and anhyzer shots. I strongly recommend this disc for beginners who struggle with distance or release angles and want better scores and consistent drives

I've wanted to like this disc for so long but I can never seem to find a spot for it in my bag because of the overstable flight. If I wanted something overstable I'll just throw a firebird. I now bag a Champion Leopard3 in its place because it's easier to control and more versatile than the teebird in my opinion.

Wowie, this thing is glidey and controllable. The one I have is 166g in star plastic. It definitely has some turn to it. In order to get the straight flight it needs a baby hyzer angle. Thrown flat though, it will turn just a bit and glide forever, still finishing more left than right. I tend to get a lot of skip especially if its thrown lower. 166g is a little light for the winds we get in Colorado but calm weather or with a tailwind this disc is my best friend. I'll probably have to try these in a couple different weights.

Excellent overstable fairway driver. I recently had a "lightbulb moment" that immensely improved my BH, so I've started to throw more stable discs and getting the expected flight out of them. In that sense I'd say it's pretty beginner friendly, but if you just started playing the game or are still working to get your BH drives over 300ft then I'd recommend something a bit more understable (eg TL) or going with a lower weight. The grip is great in star plastic and comfortable for anyone with smaller hands.

One of my go to fairway drivers. I have had one ever since I started. I can always depend on solid distance with a consistent finish. I can adjust the fade easily by changing my release angle and the height of my throw.  I have always been able to depend on this disc for reliable distance and fade. Also a very easy disc to use when you begin to throw at different angles and heights. Great for beginners. Great for any player

The Teebird is a beginner friendly control driver that gives easy distance.  It is offerend in just about every type of plastic in Innova's lineup.  My Star Teebird offers the perfect link between my midrange and distance drivers.  It has enough glide to get good distance, but not so much that you lose distance control.  The fade at the end is consistent and reliable, even into a light headwind.  This is a great disc that has a place in the bag of both beginners and experts.

The Innova TeeBird is one of the best and most reliable fairway driver on the market currently and it should really consist in most disc golf starter sets. It is suited mainly for control drives and can fly straight in nearly any conditions. If you want a simple and extremely dependable fairway driver, then the TeeBird is an excellent option and won’t do you wrong. The TeeBird, however, is not very suitable for brand new players.  It requires a good amount of strength and technique to throw straight with consistency. But for intermediate and advanced players, this is a great choice for a go-to driver. For your plastic choice, you can’t really go wrong. The choice is mainly personal preference but the Champion is better suited for higher skill levels and the Star and GStar are better for all-weather play due to their strong grip. The Innova TeeBird is one of the most reliable fairway drivers available. If you’re looking to get a driver that will grow with you throughout years of play, then the TeeBird is a great choice.

A great and consistent fairway driver for noobs and pros alike! I used to have a couple in the bag, but have since traded them away for eagles because I liked the feel of the eagle a bit more. That doesn't mean I didn't like the Teebird! When thrown properly you get a very nice and consistent flight that won't dump out as much as some other drivers (which may be the single thing I miss about my Teebirds at the moment).

No doubt this is my favorite disc in my bag. It is super glidey, and it is great for baby flexes, and headwinds. My favorite shot to throw with this disc is a glidey hyzer. Also since it is star plastic,it is the best feeling disc ever.

My fairway drivers were variants of Leopards and Valkyries for a while. I finally picked up a DX Teebird, and within a few shots fell in love. I have played several rounds with the DX bird, and it is now quite broken in to the point it is becoming more stable / understable. That is perfect.

I ended up buying a 168g Star and a 175g Champion copy of the disc as well. The champion is the most overstable, with Star close behind. I threw all of those in my bag, along with the TL I formerly disliked, and have played several rounds with these discs as my only drivers. I absolutely love the setup. I still don't care much for the TL as it's less that predictable, but the combination of the three Teebirds makes up for it easily.

The Teebirds are easy to throw far, always follow the same line, reliably fade, but don't burn, can be made to have a nice sweep, and are among the most consistent discs I have ever thrown. I have since completely removed all my 6-10 speed drivers from my bag except my utility Firebird and am just running Teebirds instead.

I like the mold minimalism this setup has offered, and the reliability of each disc to always do the same thing means I can easily know roughly where any given shot is goong every time.

Do yourself a favor and pick up a pair of Teebirds. One in DX, and the other in a premium plastic of your choice.

I had a green star teebird in 168 grams (maybe it was 167) around Christmas but I lost it a couple days later. My memories of this disc was that it felt great, just like 99% of other star discs, with a little bit of a sharp rim, which would interfere with forehands a little bit. To me it was a great "middle ground" disc, it went kind of far and mostly straight with a little bit of a left finish. I would use this for approaches in wide open fields or when I needed a soft hyzer. I would also throw slow turnovers with this disc and could trust it to come back. Overall I think this is a disc that every beginner needs for an overstable fairway driver or advanced players often have multiple that fly straight or beat-in teebirds that are more understable. I replaced this with a champion teebird3 which I love as well for mostly the same types of shots that I would have used this for..

    Disc - Star Teebird

Feel - The teebird is very comfortable in the hand because of its narrow, shallow rim. It fits very nicely in most hands and feels good for both backhands and forehands. Star plastic is very good for warm weather, cold weather, wet weather, dry weather, really any conditions. It provides great grip but also has great durability.

Flight - The teebird is a great disc for many types of shots. You can throw straight shots, hyzers, turnovers or whatever else you may need. The teebird starts out fairly overstable and can be a bit of a meat hook out of the box. As it beats in a little, it becomes very straight with a bit of finish. If you put anhyzer on it, it will most likely hold the line for most of its flight.

Overall - I would most likely not recommend this disc to beginners, but as people advance their arm speed, this disc would be a great first, more overstable driver to add to their bag. This disc is my go to for most drives around 340 to 365 and really enjoy throwing it.

The Teebird is certainly a 5/5 disc: it feels great in the hand, it wears nicely, and it flies straight - when one wants to throw a distance/power shot - with a bit of reliable fade at the end. This is my go-to driver when I want a distance shot that is straight. This is the second disc I ever played with, the Pig being my first, and it's a staple in my bag. I've thrown the Explorer a lot, but the Teebird feels and flies better.

This is a great disc. It has been months since I lost mine and I still haven't gotten over it.

My disc in the Star plastic was more overstable than I expected it to be but it is the disc that I reached for on nearly every tee and fairway. It is a controllable fairway driver that flies the same way every single time. It can handle a lot of power if you want to give it a rip and get a mostly straight flight but powered down you get a nice smooth hyzer.

Everyone should have this disc or a disc like it in my opinion.

    167g Star.

I got this disc after about two months in the game when it was recommended to me as part of my "disc the F* down" period.  It flies true to the numbers and reliable every time.   Still playing from short or middle tees at most courses, This is my go to driving disc on backhand holes in the 200-250 range.  where the Leopard never seemed to agree with me, this disc gave me a Speed 7 fairway I could count on.

If you're looking for a good medium speed fairway driver, this is a good choice. I selected mine with the Hypnosis stamp on it, and enjoyed throwing this disc while I had it. Unfortunately, it ended up in the drink at a local course after only owning it for about a week or two. I should be able to go swimming after it (and about 7 other discs I know are in the same area) soon.

This disc is pretty stable and you can trust it to always fade left at the end of its flight, even when you give it the business. It's not super glidy or fast though, so if you like throwing full power and want to trust your disc won't fly past the basket, this might be a good choice for you.

It has a smaller rim, which I don't find as comfortable as a wider rim disc, but it wasn't anything that bothered me. I just prefer the feel of a Ballista or a Shryke, but those are distance drivers, so one can't expect this fairway driver to have the same wide rim.

The very fact that I miss having this disc in my bag lets you know that I value it, and am looking forward to the day I find it again (hopefully soon).

The Teebird is the quintessential fairway driver that everyone needs to try.  When fresh they are very straight with a dependable (but not excessive) fade but as they break in you can get some beautiful turn followed by a gentle fade.  Every bag needs a Teebird or at least the equivalent of!

The teebird is a disc for players of all skill levels. I have 3 teedbirds in my bag at all times to cover the overstable, straight, and turnover shots up to about 325-350 ft. I bag a fresh swirly star KJ Nybo teebird at 175g for my overstable shots, a moderately beat in star Avery teebird for lazer beam tunnel shots, and a beat 171g Avery teebird for smooth turnover shots that finish flat. If you haven't tried a teebird you need to. Pick up two or ten, you won't be disappointed.

As a beginning disc golfer, this disc immediately struck me as a "longer Roc". The feel, of course, is nothing alike. But, the flight in Star plastic is very similar to my KC Pro Roc, just longer. Everyone makes these comparisons all the time: "x is a longer y" or "z is a flippier a". Finally, I have found a disc that actually fits that criteria to me. It is a classic for a reason!

This is my favorite fairway driver in my arsenal. I currently have a Avery Jenkins 2009 Star Teebird and it flies like a gem. This is one of innova most consistent disc that you can find on the market. I find that I use the Teebird most during wooded courses because of the consistency that the disc comes with. I currently bag one teebird but plan on getting the teebird 3 soon. Both of those discs fly similar and are both very comfortable in the hand. The teebird ups your game because it can easily build you confidence going into more difficult holes. You can always rely on this disc to keep you out of the rough and the teebird always finds a spot in my bag. Everyone need to bag a teebird because of the versatility that it brings.

The Teebird is one of the most consistent discs you can find. apart from DX plastic, this disc will give you an amazing, long straight flight with a reliable fade despite the plastic you are throwing. I bag both the teebird and the teebird 3, which feel very similar and are both super comfortable in the hand. The teebird is a disc that inspires confidence, because you can always rely on this disc to get the job done and keep you in the fairway. The Teebird will always find a spot in your bag even as it beats in, turning into an easy hyzer flip to flat disc, to long turnover disc. Everyone needs at least one of these in their bag, or 4 like me.

It's the best fairway driver out there, and it took my game to a whole new level. Its a straight flying disc that will resist turning over for a majority of its flight. Then as it slows down you will get a nice dependable fade. EVERY SINGLE TIME.

This thing is consistent as all get up. As you work them in they lose a touch of that high speed stability (ability to resist turning) but still stay pretty dang straight, gain solid distance. And start to fade less and less.

Can't imagine going to a course without at least two of these trusty Teebirds. One fresh and one beat (Stick with the star. DX will be chewed up in two rounds) will cover a huge chunk of your fairway drives.

I love the Star plastic for the TeeBird, after losing my forever loved DX plastic version, ditching the too overstable Champion plastic version, I finally found the "just right" TeeBird. I definitely noticed that the TeeBird Star holds it's flight pattern compared to the DX. The DX plastic started to develop a new flight pattern (not necessarily a bad thing, and I really liked the flight), but the TeeBird Star still holds its great fligh path and I love it.

This is the perfect fairway driver to bag multiple copies in different stages of wear.  A brand new Teebird is pretty stable and has the truest 0 high speed turn rating I've ever seen.  This disc does not want to turn over, which is awesome because you can get it to go laser straight for a very long time by throwing it harder than it's speed rating of 7.  As the Teebird breaks in you can get a disc that goes straight with very little effort  and very little fade.  Beat one in even further and you get the perfect controlled turnover machine.

    Disc: 167g Star TeeBird (purple)

Absolutely love this disc. Flies straight and far. Forehand and backhand. Excellent disc

Flight: The TeeBird is a straight flying disc that resist turn and then fades at the end. Once you get it worked in, it flies even straighter with less fade at the end (but still resists the turn). Gets good distance as well

Use: I use the TeeBird for forehand and backhand. It's great for long tunnel shots and even open shots that you don't want a huge fade on. Perfect speed disc that is good for both headwinds and tailwinds, as it's that perfect balance. I especially like this disc for forehand as it's one of the few discs I can forehand and it goes straight without a huge flair skip.

Summary: I really like the TeeBird and recommend it to most all players (maybe not the super new ones). It flies straight and just seems to be that perfect driver between your distance drivers and your slower control drivers.

It can be put on any line and making it very present in tight wooded corses. I like the Avery Jenkins for it’s low profile and comfortable feel in the hand. It’s a smooth sailor on a straight line with a predictable fade. 5/5

    The Innova Star Teebird...

Such a great fairway driver.  The teebird has the perfect amount of glide and stability.  This might be a little picky but I like to throw orange star teebirds between 170-175 grams.  Not sure if it has something to do with the plastic blend or what but I find that the orange ones are nice and straight with a nice fade.  I have 3, all in about the same stage of wear and they are my next step up in stability from my FD.  For me the teebird is my go to driver for straight shots that need a small amount of fade and not much ground play.  For more distance, stability and more ground play, I step up to  thunderbird or a firebird.  The teebird complements the Discmania FD very nicely.  Similar sized rim between the two just the teebird is more stable.  Overall this is one of the discs in my bag that I use a lot.  Teebirds are great.  I've thrown old KC Pro teebirds, Champ teebirds, and Star teebirds and I find that the star teebirds work best for me.

Wow. Over the course of one round having this disc in my bag it became one of my favorite fairway drivers that I've thrown. Mine has an Avery Jenkins 2009 world champion stamp and is 170g. When I first bought this disc I threw it for a day and it didn't fly the way I thought/wanted it to and i put it away in the back of my car for about a year. Recently I was sorting through and saw it figured i would give it another try. I guess the first time I was having a bad day because this disc is fantastic! Really stable and can handle a lot of power without turning, but doesn't fade very hard. My favorite thing about this disc is that it is great for holding the line that you put it on, hyzer, flat, or anhyzer, this disc stays true to its angles which helps to gauge how well you are throwing on any given day. The teebird is also one of the most versatile discs I've thrown because of the sneaky distance you can get with it. It's a pretty small diameter but it glides forever if you give it open space.

One of the legendary discs. The Innove Teebird is the straight to stable disc that most people reach for at some point. The DX version is a great disc for someone jumping into fairways for the first time, it has stability, but beats into a long straight flier quickly. The champ and star versions star out much more overstable. They don't have quite the glide that the DX will have, but they can beat into a great point and shoot disc that is easy to range in on the target. The Teebird lacks nothing in the distance department and can compete with a lot of distance drivers. Overall, an outstanding disc from Innova.

The Teebird is one of the best all around discs ever made. You can throw this disc on hyzer, straight, or anhyzer. I have personally enjoyed this disc in champion and star plastic. The Teebird starts off a bit overstable in either plastic I mentioned. The rim isn't too large making it comfortable for smaller hands or players that like to fan grip their fairway drivers. I can reach for my Teebird whenever I need a pure straight shot that will hold up to a lot of power. When you hit this disc right it flies dead straight and has a very soft fade before finishing. As the Teebird gets worked in it becomes an amazing finesse driver that you can choke back on to get a lot of control, but still has the reliability to take power drives. I've  bagged 4 Teebirds over the seasons and they have all flow completely similar. The Teebird is a truly reliable mold that has stood the test of time by made Innova.

Picked this up as I am new to disc golf and wanted a low speed driver that would go mostly straight on my RHBH. After trying it out (with my horrible newbie form), I was a little disappointed... but then I started throwing RHFH and this disc has become my go to. Flies straight and then curves nicely around obstacles toward the end of flight. It has enabled me to consistently thread the needle between obstacles. As well as watch my average drive go from 150 to 225+.

My go to fairway driver.  Dependable, predictable fade.  When really ripped, it will turn a bit but always finishes left (RHBH).  The Star plastic holds up well and continues to show the same characteristics many rounds in, although a bit slippery at times.  The small rims makes this approachable for beginners.  In strong headwinds, I'll for something more stable, Firebird, Thunderbird, Destroyer.

The Teebird, arguably being Innova's most advertised disc, is a staple of the sport of disc golf for a reason. It's combination of speed, glide and stability are very easy to utilize by all levels of players from beginners to professionals. Many pro players are known to have 3-5 teebirds in their bag in various plastics and state of wear just to cover such a wide range of shots. I wouldn't recommend the teebird to someone as a first disc, but it doesn't take too much skill to be able to throw one effectively. There is a lot of variation in flights between plastic types, so make sure to research the plastic type before making your purchase to make sure you get what you are after. If you're looking for a stable, controllable fairway driver the Teebird would be a great disc for that spot.

This disc is a great first overstable driver for a beginner.  It has a predictable fade and can be used for learning forehand as well.  As your skill and power increases, it can become a great utility disc for spike hyzers and even some nice straighter shots (with enough power, or a beat-in Teebird).  I recommend the Star plastic, as it holds up well, while slowly breaking in for a dependable flight that will last a long time.

The Teebird has been a staple of the Innova lineup for a long time. In the hand it has a similar sized rim to something like a Leopard3 and is quite easy to grip backhand and forehand. I have had an assortment of Teebirds over the years but I currently am bagging a Star AJ Teebird at 175g.

The Teebird is the all-rounder kind of disc. It has no highspeed turn when new and a nice hookup at the end of its flight. Depending upon the plastic type you get, how domey it is, and what weight can really change how your teebird flies. In my experience the G* plastic ones really glide well and the domey run star teebirds are incredibly straight while the champion ones or flat top star runs are a bit more overstable. The tee bird has just enough stability to make it flexible allowing you to still throw nice flexing Anhyzers or big hyzer bombs with ease. Overhand and forehand rollers are workable but not for very long distances. Forehand this disc has just the right amount of stability when new to be thrown flat and will work its way into a nice hyzer flip disc.

Overall the teebird handles the wind pretty well it has the right amount of everything do work in mild conditions although you will probably need to make adjustments for more extreme conditions.

The teebird in lower weight base line or pro plastics are great complements to something like a Leopard or Leopard3, the premium plastic ones may be a bit too overstable though.

Overall the teebird is a workhorse in the slow fairway driver class, a jack of all trades and master of none. Because it is so tunable and workable there aren't many reasons not to bag one and it is definitely a disc that will improve your game. A solid 5/5 suits this disc very well and if you haven't already pick a couple up.

The Teebird is a very versatile disc that will have a use in many players bags. I throw the star teebird and it goes straight and has a nice fade at the end of its flight. The fade is dependable and not overpowering when thrown flat. Being a fairway driver you can still get good distance on one easy and its a great disc for shots that are in between a midrange and a distance driver.

Now to go fanboy. I love the Star Teebird and I will bag one as long as I can as it helped save the game of disc golf for me. It taught me correct form in my formative days when I shouldve been throwing mids and fairway drivers to begin with until my technique improved. Like many first time players I wanted to throw the drivers with the cool stamps and the flashy names but I didn't understand that the speed of the drivers I was attempting to throw were too fast for my arm and technique. After gettting frustrated and doing some research online I came across the Teebird. I learned how to "disc down" and I thrown only Teebirds, Buzzzes, and Aviars for many of many rounds. I really feel that by doing this it great helped my techinque improve. The Teebird is a solid disc and Teebird throwers know there isn't a replacement. Its a special disc that has been often immitated but never duplicated.

If you are needing a good disc that has a nice predictable fade this is the disc you are looking for. Its a disc that is good for beginners and pros alike.

I bag a few Teebirds because they are so reliable; they go straight then fade a little bit.  Sometimes I wish they had a little more torque resistance for forehands or a little less stability, but I guess that's why you bag other discs too.

An awesome disc! The teebird is a great straight flyer. I bought it hoping that as time will go on that it will keep its straight flight path, it is replacing my falchion. So far after various tree hits and a decent amount of time owning it, the teebird is staying true to its flight path of a straight flyer.

The stability of this disc is great, I can throw it backhand and get some good distance out of it. The older it has become the stability hasn't changed all that much, this is a great thing.

I've heard that it is similar to DD's Thief; this is not true. The Thief is understable and really easy to get a late fade to the right and to turn over. The Teebird is not like that at all, it is overstable for me, and flies very straight.

I bought this disc for the fact that it is supposed to be a straight flyer. It did not disappoint. It is staying in my bag.

Teebirds are my go to fairway driver.  A lot of the courses I play at have almost all sub 370ft holes.  I typically reach for my Teebirds for controlled shots off the box.  Brand new, these discs are fairly stable but will beat in quickly to being very straight flat throwers with a consistent fade.  I recommend these discs to a lot of beginners as a more stable alternative to a leopard.  the champion ones are more stable than the Star, and are my go to when I really need to power up on a teebird to prevent having too much turn.

The Teebird might be my favorite fairway driver if I hadn't had a Volt first.  I have two volts and a teebird, I don't see any difference in the discs other than I like the feel of MVP better.  I will probably give my teebird to a friend that throws them.

It does exactly what you want out of an overstable fairway driver.  You can flex it down tight fairways, hyzer it around corners and even power it up and get some turn on it for a long straight throw.

The Teebird is my favorite disc, I use it for most holes that are around 300-330. I have 4 I think, most in star plastic, one in champion. The champion has a small but very reliable fade, one star is my flippy one, and another star is my dead straight on a hyzer flip.

I'll never play a round again without a teebird.

Fantastic disc.  I picked up a 175g Star Teebird on InfiniteDiscs Black Friday Sale.  This disc does exactly what I need it to consistently.  I am starting to see a bit of turn develop as this disc has broken in, but certaintly nothing uncontrollable.  If you had to carry a single control driver, this could be it!

Wonder why there are lots of long reviews on this one? It is for good reason. Just a solid disc, great in DX or Star for me. I can put this out to right around 350', if i tried for more it would wander and not come back. Nothing crazy here, onlly greatness!

The TeeBird is an amazing control driver. It is extremely popular, and for very good reason. In my opinion, it is one of the best control drivers available. For beginners it may seem a little stable, but it is very consistent, feels great in the hand, and is quite versatile.

The TeeBird is a fairly neutral, to slightly stable disc (atleast a new disc playing at 5,000 feet). When releasing the Star TeeBird flat at a moderate speed, it turns over a little and gives me a nice little S flight. I also use it for hyzers, light hyzer flips, and turnovers (hence its versatility).

One of the aspects I really like about the TeeBird, is how easy it feels to control; the angle of release, and in distance. I can get the TeeBird out about 350, but it's great for short distances as well. If I really go for it, I might be able to get it out a little farther out.

If you are a new player, or haven't picked up a TeeBird yet, you should. It is a fantastic disc, and many top pros will tell you the same thing. Watch some "In the Bag" videos of Innova players and most, if not all, carry multiple TeeBirds.

Had a Teebird in the bag for a while cause I was told it was a good one to have. I didnt throw it until the last couple months. I have fallen in love with this disc! I find it to fly true to the numbers with my Gstar being slightly more understable than my Star. Im mainly partial to this disc due to it being my first ace disc. Other than myself I have seen 2 other players ace with Teebirds. Aside the ace factor I find with good arm speed control and angle of relase you can make this thing do dang near anything. Great all around disc to get you outta awkward situations or just to have a nice, long, strait throw. My wife throws a Teebird as well and even with her lower arm speed it works great for her! All around great must have disc! Stop reading reviews GO GET ONE!!!

I have a 166 gram star teebird.  It flies true to the flight numbers for me.  It is stable to mildly overstable.  It is my go to disc when I need a moderately long, but accurate shot.  It doesn't turn for me even on a full power throw and has fairly limited fade (rhbh).  It is a very useful disc for me that gets pulled out quite often, especially on tight courses.

It is not overstable enough for me to throw it too hard into a headwind without it turning or to throw it full power forehand without substantial turn.  I'm also not sure I would recommend it as a main driver for an early beginner as it is too overstable for most beginner's technique.  Despite this, it is a must have disc for me at my current skill level.

The Star Teebird is probably my favorite Fairway Driver. When I first got "good" at disc golf I would carry 4 different Teebirds in my bag. Since then the FD, FD2, and Veteran have all been introduced to my disc golf game, but the Star Teebird remains one of my go-to Fairway drivers. It is so dependable, and the flight is very consistent and straight. I can throw a Teebird Full power and get almost 450 feet drives out of them.

My most recent Teebird I obtained in the wintertime of 2015, and it stayed fully in the bag (even practice rounds) for 8 months, which is seriously a long time in my bag. I threw this disc everywhere and got many birdies with it. The Teebird is just so dependable, and I really really love the star plastic.

Throw it straight, throw it far, throw it short, throw it around things, this disc does it all. But no really its great for everything, maybe not putting but you get it. I never over throw with this disc as it has just enough glid to get it from A to B, the fade isnt half bad either so you dont have to worry about being to far left of the target.

The Star Teebird is a slightly overstable fairway driver that sets the standard for all others.  There simply is nothing more reliable, controllable and wonderful than a beat in Star Teebird.  Most players that throw high speeds would do well to run a Star Teebird for a season.

Been throwing the teebird a lot more recently due to the reliability of it. Mine takes a nice hyzer route (I dont' throw as hard as most). Great for those long slight hyzer holes in the woods. Disc can take tree hits and still keep flying consistently. I was never a big fan of star plastic but I really like my star teebird. Great addition to any bag.

Been throwing this disc for awhile now and it's great. I have a 168g in star plastic and it's quite domey. This disc is super consistent not a disc with a big huge reliable meat hook fade but a slow forward penetrating fade that is very controllable. I am a dominantly forehand thrower but this disc has allowed me to have a backhand that reaches just about as far as my forehand and is great for someone with an intermediate backhand. The rim width feels great in my hand not too big or small and it's just a solid workhorse. Great disc!

Just picked up a Star TeeBird and brought it out the a football field to test against my new TL. TeeBird does fade harder and holds a line much better in the wind than the TL. I have decent to strong arm strength and can this this guy out to 300+ feet consistently. I think the reason so many people love this disc is because it's 1) basically a longer Roc, and 2) incredibly consistent for a driver.

Now I am playing with Star Teebird (168-170 gram) and there couldn't be better fairway driver than teebird. I am getting a true innova flight path from the star teebird: dead straight and a good fade at the end. I use this disc for 200 to 300 feet where I need a good fade.

The TeeBird is a disc which you can power up with your backhand and let it fly.  With a sidearm throw, easy does it.

Really good disc, I wish I had this years ago. Flys like a dream. Comes in light weights too. I normally don't see the big fuss when it comes to these insanely popular discs(Buzz, Roc, Aviar) but the teebird is truly an excellent disc and it is hard to find a replacement from any other company.

Great fairway driver. I have this disc in Star plastic in my bag, and call it my miracle disc. Anything between 100 and 250 feet, I use this disc. It's gotten me out of so many horrible lays, and I usually end up parking it and even hit one from over 200 completely blind recently. I went 2 months without this disc after I left it lay by a basket. I lost two to three strokes a round, and instantly got them back when I got this disc back. If I had to choose one disc to play a round with at a diverse course, this is the one. Absolute must have.

Best fairway driver. Accurate, predictable. If you are a newer player and the discs is a little to stable, check out the TL (Teebird-Long); it is a little less stable. They fly great and wear in beautifully. Many players carry multiple Teebirds for straight, hyzer, and anhyzer shots. If I could only carry one driver, it would be a Teebird. The slower speed and glide make the disc sneaky long in tail-winds. They also come in light weights for  less powerful players.

DX Teebirds start out stabl;e (straight) and get understable quite quickly. Star Teebirds start out stable to slightly overstable and beat into a nice straight disc with great glide. Champion Teebirds (especially the new Jolly Launcher plastic) are overstable and take a lot to beat in.
