This is one of those magic point and shoot discs that is a staple for so many bags. I have a Champion and a Metal Flake Champion. The Metal Flake is a little more overstable. Both discs do really well in the wind to keep a straight shot. This is my primary fairway driver and I love it, love the birb!

One of the staples of my bag. For me I like them most when they are brand new. On a slight hyzer they stand up and go straight for the whole flight, with a slight consistent fade at the end. I cycle these (along with eagles recently) and they are amazing. I have 4 that I use fairly consistently (I only bag two). I would recommend these to anyone. New players may not get a straight flight, but I believe they would still be useful. Hard to beat! They are definitely my most thrown fairway and probably my most thrown disc (except maybe the pig for approaches). They are amazing! You can't go wrong!

    Champion, 173g

Thought I hated teebirds because if this disc but it's just the inconsistency of the runs and the overstability of champion. After throwing star and gstar I completely came around to enjoy the mould but this disc in champion is absolutely not 7 5 0 2. More 7 3.5 0 3. All I can use this for is hard finish forehands, which it does well, but I use a gstar teebird when I actually need the claimed flight rating.

Would recommend newer players try gstar first or even better, go get an infinite exodus instead.

The Teebird is my favorite fairway driver of all time, it is very controllable. I currently bag a champ teebird and when thrown flat or on a slight hyzer it will turn just a little bit before finding the stability to fade out at the end. I've always found it to be very predictable. When I started I had a lightweight champ teebird that followed this same flight pattern even with my lower arm speed. And I would highly recommend to beginners, it is a very "point and shoot" driver.

To me this disc holds a very special place in heart. It's like an Original Gangster disc. It was my 1st stable disc that I could get a decent flight out of. 1st disc I perfected my spike hyzer with. My champion version in my bag is the original Tee Bird I got when I first started. This was my first disc I could count on getting around trees.
In champion plastic, it has a dependable fade that can get better while ground play skips. In my early version GStar plastic the fade is way less predictable and there's a lot less ground play, disc is super gummy I've tried later versions of the GStar and find it to be less gummy which I want for a shot with no ground play. The Jen Allen Glow 2020 version is domey, allows a longer glide with champion fade. The metal flake version is more OS with less glide then the champion version, which is great on windy days. I'm looking forward to when Halo comes out in the TeeBird. I've thrown some TB3 and just never liked them as much as a MF or champion TB.

I received a Champion Teebird from my best friend when I started playing disc golf with him. Once you learn how to throw a disc pretty well and known the flight numbers, this disc comes in handy a lot. I pair it with a Leopard3, which I think really completes a bag. I use this for shorter holes where the baskets are on the right or left, and this thing really flies well for being a overstable disc, backhand or forehand. The great thing about it its very predictable, which makes it easier to get it close to the basket and control its flight path. I even used it to sink a 20-30 foot attempt in the basket. Recommend it for someone looking for a overstable disc that gets good distance and is easy to handle.

I know some people love the teebird but the teebird just wasn't for me. In the champion plastic the teebird was so overstable. I can throw back hand consistently 370 and forehand 415 but to get flight out of it I had to throw flex lines. It was nearly as overstable as my firebirds. Mine also has a ton of dome. I think maybe a star one would be better and beat in more but unless you are looking for a super overstable teebird I would not get a champion one. The champion plastic though felt really nice, it was slightly gummy and despite trying it out for about 9 months it still flew like new.

This was my first disc golf disc, started out as very overstable when i was beginner. After 4 years i still always have a teebird in the bag. I've got a better arm so now it flies dead straight for 300ft then reliably gets a gentle forwards pushing fade. On anhyzers it holds true the whole way. I max out at 375 on distance lines with it. Champion plastic is very slow to beat in, but my rainbow teebird is a bit gummier, feels like its between start and champion, but if you want to cycle you should start with DX and star in my opnion. My original champion teebird is still quite stable, no flip at all but maybe a touch straighter finish, and its been used everytime i go out on the course. GREAT for learning beginner forhands. Stable enough to finish right, but not so overstable that it dumps right away. Its not quite as torque resistant on the power forehands. You can get some nice hyzer flips but my shoulder prevents me from getting to that angle, so i prefer to go to either a thunderbird or wraith on longer lines.

    The quintessential overstable fairway driver

I throw a champion TeeBird and I throw it about 250 feet, forehand and backhand.

This was the first disc I could reliably throw forehand, and the first disc that opened up shot-shaping options to really throw around trees and obstacles. I can throw it low or high and count on a nice curve to the left (RHBH) or right (RHFH). Highly recommended

Everyone has that one mold in their bag that their game would be incomplete without. For me, its the Champion Teebird. I highly recommend that everyone at least tries the Teebird at some point in their disc golf journey. It's the kind of disc that if you bag one, you'll want to bag a couple more to fill slightly different spots. The Teebird feels fantastic in the hand and is a dependable fairway driver that I feel comfortable pulling out for virtually any shot in the 340-400 ft. range. Some Champion Teebirds may start off on the beefier side, but they'll quickly beat into a disc that you won't want to live without. 11/10!

Disc flies pretty true to the flight path.  How soon it starts the fade will depend on your arm speed.  I like this one for left finishes, and it also does well for hyzer sweeps.  It's a go to driver for a lot of people, but for me it's a situation dependent driver.

    167 Champ teebird

I love my teebird so much. Even though at this point my arm speed is higher than a 7, this is still my go to driver. I originally bought this disc to be my forehand fairway driver because of the overstability, but eventually I started throwing it backhand, then more backhand, until I realized this is THE disc for me. Throwing at like 50-60% for 200-250 foot shots this thing is still reliably over stable for me. But, now that it's been beat in a bit when I power up for max distance and release flat it will drift right for a bit before reliably fading left. I hit 390 today with it! I reliably can throw this thing 330 on flat ground and any downhill it just seemingly keeps gliding and goes 350+ with ease. Release on hyzer it will flip up flat, ride that for the next ~80% of the flight before fading back. Release anhyzer it holds the line without turning over and will eventually fade back if I give it enough height. For beginners this will fly true to numbers pretty quickly, and when it beats in it's really just fantastic for everything. I can't recommend it enough

Lost this disc off one of those steep drops at DeLaveaga.  I used to count on it giving very good consistent throws.   It's the best stable disc for beginners as it doesn't hyzer off as quickly as many of the other faster discs I've thrown, yet it gives good distance even in a bit of wind.  I thought I left my number on all my discs , but I've yet to have anybody call me for the ones I lost.  I would get a new one but right now I'm very happy with my Lat 64 Maul and its #7 glide.

My favorite disc had the exact same numbers as a Teebird... But I am not a fan of the Teebird. For me it's the lowest speed meat hook I've ever thrown. For me it seems painfully overtake to the point that it's not usable. Might just be me though cause everyone else swears by it.  I wouldn't recommend this disc for beginners except for in base DX plastic.

I bag two tee birds, 170g DX and a 173g Champion.

The DX teebird was the first disc I purchased.  When new and thrown flat the disc would go straight with a consistent finish.  Now that I have used it for a season it has gotten much more understable.  Now when thrown flat the disc will turn to the right with a reliable finish, making easy s-curve throws.  When thrown on anhyzer with full power it will hold the turn and finish to the right without burning over.  When thrown with a little less power it will hold the turn for most of the flight and have a small little hook at the end of the flight.

The champion version is much more stable.  I can get it to flip to flat when thrown forehand or with moderate power backhand.  I use this disc when it gets windy or I want a little more stability than the DX version.

The disc feels good in the hand, with a small rim it's easy to grip forehand and backhand.  With a speed of 7, it's a good starter driver if you want an overstable flight.  As I said before, first disc I ever purchased and one of the most reached for in the bag to this day.

One of my favorite discs I have ever bagged. I would suggest that anyone who is getting past the beginner stage of throwing this is the perfect disc. The flight numbers are very accurate most arms can keep this thing dead straight with a nice fade at the end. If you do have a slower arm the teebird may be a bit more overstable but still a great disc. The disc is also very comfortable in the hand and I have loved throwing it since I got it. One of the best qualities of the teebird is its use in the woods. Being a 7 speed I always feel I can keep control of it while also pushing it to a further distance then I would for any other disc. The teebird has been my reliable woods disc for quite a while and I don't see that changing soon. The last great attribute of the teebird is it is great in the wind, it is not the most overstable disc in any lineup but is still a great reliable disc.

Great disc that is just as described. Straight with a dependable, controllable fade at the end of its flight. I would say it starts out a bit more overstable than you'd expect, but it beats into a perfect slot. I love intermediate distance shots in the 300-350 range that I can pump out flat, know that it'll stay straight and drift toward the basket at the end of its flight. The teebird is also good for penetrating hyzer shots where you want to hit a gap on hyzer and push forward without flipping or fading too hard during its flight. Can handle moderate winds and forehands, though I don't have a power forehand so I can't attest to whether it'll handle a 400 ft power forehand. It has a little bit of flashing on the outer edge of the rim that might feel a little odd at first in the hand, or at least that's how mine came. Champion plastic very durable and feels good. Not quite as much grip as star plastic in my opinion but still just fine.

I bought this disc because I had a very low arm speed when I first started playing. To a beginner, this disc will feel relatively overstable. However, as I have improved, the disc does seem to be much more stable. I don't throw this disc very often, but when I do it does a pretty good job of flying straight and then fading out at the end. I have noticed that it tends to turn just a little on my forehand throws.

I love the teebird. I like champion plastic for forehands. This is my go to disc on any hole that is 250-300 ft. I dont have the strongest arm and this is still great!!!

The Teebird is a very versatile disc that will have a use in many players bags. I throw the star teebird and it goes straight and has a nice fade at the end of its flight. The fade is dependable and not overpowering when thrown flat. Being a fairway driver you can still get good distance on one easy and its a great disc for shots that are in between a midrange and a distance driver.

Now to go fanboy. I love the Star Teebird and I will bag one as long as I can as it helped save the game of disc golf for me. It taught me correct form in my formative days when I shouldve been throwing mids and fairway drivers to begin with until my technique improved. Like many first time players I wanted to throw the drivers with the cool stamps and the flashy names but I didn't understand that the speed of the drivers I was attempting to throw were too fast for my arm and technique. After getting frustrated and doing some research online I came across the Teebird. I learned how to "disc down" and I thrown only Teebirds, Buzzzes, and Aviars for many of many rounds. I really feel that by doing this it great helped my technique improve. The Teebird is a solid disc and Teebird throwers know there isn't a replacement. Its a special disc that has been often imitated but never duplicated.

If you are needing a good disc that has a nice predictable fade this is the disc you are looking for. Its a disc that is good for beginners and pros alike.

Teebird is a natural step up from the leopard (innova beginner disc sets). Once you have your throwing form down, this is one of the best discs you can get for drives. It throws well and consistently for bother backhand and forehand throws. Champion plastic holds up very well. I have 4 of these and always keep one in my bag.

When I got a teebird for the first time, I was expecting it to be the straight fairway driver that everyone says it is. The teebird is probably the most recommended straight fairway driver ever, but for me it was just too overstable. When I was throwing it, I was still fairly new to disc golf and my form wasn't completely down, but I still kept hearing the teebird as the best fairway driver of all time that everyone should have so I figured I should at least try it.

The teebird does feel good, but it is just too overstable to fill the slot in my bag that I wanted it to. Before you buy a teebird to be your straight disc, I would look at some other options that may work a little better and make sure you have great form.

The Champion Teebird is a staple in my bag. They start out very straight and glidy with a subtle overstable finish and beat in to have a nice flip and flat finish. I carry two in the bag (one new and one flippy) for all kinds of technical backhand fairway shots. For beginners, this disc will be a bit overstable but is a great disc to have in the bag at every skill level.

Champion teebird was my very first fairway driver and my first Ace disc. I have purchased tons of other fairway molds but I find myself going back to the teebird and teebird3. The teebird favors average power and smooth form to get a full flight. Beat in a champion teebird and it will be a special disc in your bag. My recommendation is to find yourself the least domey teebird possible.

I just got this disc about a week ago, and I love this thing.  I had already thrown a friend's and knew I needed it.  This disc is one of the most reliable discs I have ever thrown.  No matter how hard or soft I throw it, it will always go super straight before fading off.  It is not a hard fade, but it is enough that you'll always be able to get around turns or get out of a tough spot.  It is 100% a must-have for anyone who wants to play.  It shouldn't be used by someone who is just getting started, but once you have a better idea of how to play, this is definitely a disc you need.

This was my first disc that I actually bought myself, and I bought it really early on in my time playing disc golf. And I'm glad I did. This disc taught me how to predict a hard fade, and use it to my advantage. With its high dome and sleek edges, I often would have this disc come in on the right from my target, land short, and skip predictably under the basket. I loved this disc, and sadly I lost it in my local disc golf course, before I started putting my name and number on my discs.
All in all, this is a good learning disc for beginners, and intermediates to pros can utilize the predictable fade to really get some distance and maneuverability!

I learned how to play disc golf and how to throw discs with my Innova Champion Teebird. This thing takes the same line every throw every time. Its predictable overstable flight path allowed me to start figuring out how to throw at different basket scenarios. For the longest time it was my driver because I couldn't throw anything much faster. Now my Teebird is my reliable best control/fairway driver. I know exactly what this thing is gonna do and I know pretty much withing a 15ft space where this thing is going to land. I could not recommend this disc enough to anybody but especially newer players who are trying to learn how to throw a disc.

The Innova Champion Teebird is a speed seven fairway driver that can improve anyones game.  From beginner to pro, the Teebird is a widely praised disc and is a useful fairway driver that never seems to go out of style.  I own a champion Teebird.  It started out straight with a significant fade at the end.  Since it's champion plastic it beat in slowly, and now it goes slightly straighter with slightly less fade.  In my opinion it does everything a fairway driver should do, and I find myself reaching for it shot after shot.

    Disc - 171g Champion Teebird

The Teebird is the first stable/overstable driver any developing player should have in their bag. Beginner players with high enough arm speed will see this disc going straight with a reliable fade left or large hyzers. Intermediate/advanced players are able to utilize this disc for any number of straight, flex, or hyzer shots. I throw this disc slightly powered down when I want a straight flight with a strong fade. I throw it hard and flat when I want a reliable slight turn and flex back. I throw large hyzers that hold the line. I throw this disc into the wind on a hyzer when I want a straight flight but don't want to pull out the Firebird or a Destroyer. The fade on this disc is one of the most reliable of any disc I have.

Teebird is love. Teebird is life. Learn the Teebird. Become the Teebird.

This truly is the disc that all other stable/overstable drivers are compared to.

The Teebird is a disc that every serious disc golfer should have in their bag. I wouldn't recommend it as a first driver for a beginner, but once you've developed a little bit of form, it is one of the best straight flying control drivers in the game. The narrow rim makes it easy to handle and speed 7 doesn't require perfect form and power to get up to speed. My primary Teebird is a 11x KC stamp Champion that always amazes me at how consistent it flies. Almost no high speed turn unless throwing into a stiff headwind, and even then it finds a way to fight back. My star TB will show a bit more turn off the tee and finish a bit straighter. They also are the furthest flying disc I can throw from a stand still and this makes them incredibly valuable on long par 4/5 holes (or shanked par 3s) where reaching the basket with a mid on the second shot is a stretch but the ground surface doesn't allow for a X-step.

The Champion TeeBird is a disc with a good overstable fade to the left after flying straight for a bit. It is a 7 speed control driver that I use in open field shots as well as wooded fairways. I really like this disc.

My champion teebird has been with me for a couple years now and it has not lost any bit of beefyness. I love using it for causal hyzer shots, as well as a stable driver when i really throw it hard. The teebird also makes a really good hammer, the turn is just right for great approaches and shooting wooded gaps. I will always bag a champion teebird, and I reccomend everyone else do the same.

This disc doesn't need yet another 5-star review, this disc is legendary.  Beginners can have their first look at the disc lifecycle by bagging a DX TeeBird, watching the flight characteristics quickly change as they beat it in. More advanced players will appreciate the additional stability and durability of the premium plastics. Everyone will appreciate the unparalleled glide you get from a TeeBird. I currently only have this disc in Champion plastic, but I'm going to get it in every plastic I can get my hands on and start bouncing other molds out of my bag.

This is one of the first discs I bought when I was beginning to take disc golf more seriously. It is one of the most popular fairways for a reason, and that reason is its workable, neutral flight, and it's massive amounts of glide. While I still like the teebird, and still bag it, I don't use it a ton. I dont seem to find enough shots in between where I'd use a Buzzz or a Thunderbird/Firebird. But that's just me. I still would recommend this disc to anybody of nearly any skill level. For reference, mine is 173g Champ.

The Teebird is a very beginner friendly disc that works well for any shot between 300' and 400' feet. It is fairly overstable in the Champion plastic, but with the proper arm speed this disc will go almost dead straight with only a slight turn and fade. This disc is very controllable, and works well for low ceiling shots where you want a big skip. It's also great for headwind shots because it is very resistant to turnover. No mater what your skill level the Teebird is the disc for you.

NOTE: I would not recommend the Teebird for a beginner in the Champion plastic. A lighter one in Pro or Gstar is much more beginner friendly.

My favorite control driver of all time. Usually they start out slightly overstable, I can rip it mostly flat and it will go straight with a slow fade toward the end of the flight. Pump it hard to get it dead straight, or beat them up a little for a nice turnover or even roller disc.

Grab a champion or star teebird. Beat it in all the way. Leave all of your other fairway and distance drivers at home. This is the benchmark consistent fairway driver. In higher range plastics these discs can take a lot of power if you want to push them further or turn them over with a flat landing. In 16 years of playing,  I've never found a better stable fairway driver. If you're a beginner I would suggest the pro plastic, but if you can deal with working in a more over stable feeling disc,  grab that star or champ and eventually it will be your money fairway.

One of my all time favorite discs.   The disc i grab more often than anything else in my bag.   Incredibly reliable.   Great for hyzer shots and super straight with a decent fade at the end.  In a head wind it just goes straight forever then fades very gently.  Everyone should bag this disc.

175g Champion Teebird. For reference, my max drive is 375, using a Mamba, with an average drive of 325 using a Wraith.

If there’s one fairway driver you should have in your bag, it’s the Innova Teebird. The Teebird is the friend you look to during stressful times. I reach for this disc when I’m uncertain whether I can reach the pin with my Buzzz (175g Elite-Z).

Backhand: I normally use the Teebird for backhand drives at 60-70% power along tight fairways or tunnels 250-300 ft. (I use Buzzz for straight shots at 150-250 ft.). The Teebird is also versatile and flexible. You can flex an S-curve on a Teebird at around 90-100% power thrown flat, or at 60-70% power thrown on a slight anhyzer angle. And you can also get graceful turnover shots with an anhyzer at high power.

Forehand: The Teebird is also a great laser forehand disc in a range of about 150-225 ft. It’s only a 7 speed, so I don’t recommend a forehand drive farther than about 225 ft. unless you plan on an S-flex or turnover shot. The Teebird starts to flex / turn when you put enough forehand snap to reach about 225 ft. or longer, so I’d recommend something like a PD past this range for a more stable / overstable powerful forehand flick.

I highly recommend having a Teebird in your bag. On that note, if I were only able to carry 5-discs in my bag, Teebird is definitely in there :-).

After losing my TeeBird DX, I bought the TeeBird Champion. As a beginner I was unware of the Champion plastics qualities and how it made the disc more overstable. For the TeeBird, I just couldn't get it to fly the way I wanted it to like the DX plastic. It seemed to take a very very overstable flight path.

The most quintessential disc in my bag and a lot of others too. I have a very beat-in champion teebird that seems to only get better with age. This disc can do everything. I'll throw this on anything from 275 - 375, and I can throw it backhand  and forehand (anny, flat, hyzer angles) and each and every flight pattern is reliable and consistent. You can shape almost any line with this disc, and don't let the speed 7 rating fool you, you can easily get big distance with this disc. The fade is very reasonable, this disc is somewhat wind resistant, and I find perfect for hyzerflips. There is not a single con about this disc.

The over-stable fairway driver spot has been the hardest for me to fill in my bag. That being said, the Teebird has been the closest thing I have found to what I need. Whereas the Firebird is WAY too over-stable for my backhands, the Teebird is much more manageable without being as neutral as the Thunderbird. I really like this disc a lot and it is still growing on me.

I throw this disc in Champion plastic.

The Teebird was one of the first discs i bought after picking up the sport again. Out of the box it was somewhat overstable. You could really count on it to go left. I developed better technique with more spin, but the Teebird stayed true to my game.

Flight: I've probably hit a hundred trees with the disc and it is still overstable. I can mash i straight for a good 110 without it flipping on me. The only time the disc flips on me is when the wind really gets to push from below (near edges of cliffs), and that's where i go for stable midranges instead.

Feel: The rim is deeper than on the Thunderbird for example, but not too deep. It's just right for me, providing me with a consistent release. I hardly ever pre-release or "grip lock" this disc. However, I'm not really a fan of sidearming it. I can't quite explain why. Maybe the rim is slightly too deep for my sidearm.

    Conclusion:

The Teebird is a legendary disc. Don't let the speed of it fool you. This disc has the potential to fly far. It can be used for pretty much any shot as long as you figure it out and adjust your spin. Personally I use it for 90-100m straight shots and hyzer upshots. You can't go wrong with this disc.

This disc is my weak armedaversion of a Destroyer or a thunderbird. In champion plastic this disc is a beast for me. It will always fade as I expect it. It is a great disc to teach you to throw properly because without a proper throw this thing will fade hard and fast.

This disc is amazing.  This disc has gone through several iterations, but my review will focus on the 12x KC Champion Teebird I have owned for 3 years (pretty much since I started played DG).

In general, I do not like Champion plastic.  I will never use Champion for anything less than a control driver.  When I started throwing this disc, it was OS.  I liked it for RHBH hyzers and RHFH touch shots.  I used it quite a bit, and after some wear, it became my go to backhand disc.

After some wear.. I could forehand it 200ft strait with reliable fade to the right.. and it was a staple in bag.  It did lose a bit of its RHBH fade, which is why I picked up a Firebird.

TLDR:  Get 3 Teebird in Star plastic.  I recommend Star plastic because it is easier to wear in.  You will not regret it.

Man oh man do I love the TeeBird. For me, out of the box, a Champion TeeBird is quite overstable. Not Firebird os, but I get less than zero turn out of a TB. This is a really great, long and straight driver with a nice predictable fade at the end. In my bag, this is a must.

Now that my arm speed has increased and I can throw overstable discs, this has become a staple in my bag. So much so that I just bought 2 more. I also really enjoy this disc for short tee shots that play to the right allowing me to use a control forehand. Great overall disc and a very good complement to a Leopard

Probably one of the Top 5 most popular discs. Everyone knows or has heard about a Teebird. When any manufacturer releases a fairway/control driver, it always seems to be compared to a Teebird.

I have a 175g Champ Teebird. It's a great reliable disc. Out of the box, I feared it was to stable for my taste, but once it starts to beat in properly, I was able to control it and loved it. The Teebird has a great feel and fits perfectly in my hand. If I release on a hyzer, it will ride the hyzer out. If thrown flat, it will turn right and ride a bit before fading back to the left. I don't forehand my Teebird, because I will flip it over and crash it in the ground.

Overall it's a great disc you need to try. You can't really go wrong with a Teebird.

The Teebird is a staple disc for any player. For newer playes it can serve as a reliable stable fairway friver that will give them pretty good distance. For experienced players, the Teebird can be one of the straightest most reliable long distance approach discs in the bag. I can throw mine up to maybe a speed 9-10 without flipping it over. On softer throws, this disc will give you a good reliable fade with much more distance than a midrange without the added effort of throwing hard. Just today I played a hole that could be attacked either by a hard Roc3 or a soft Teebird. I went with the Teebird so I wouldnt risk flipping my Roc3 over and I ended up parking it two feet from the basket. Its nice to have that option.

My only caution when using this disc is: dont throw it too hard. It feels like a faster driver in the hand than it really is. Once beat in, the fade is not hard enough to be a failsafe against flipping the disc. If you can holster the big guns, this disc will be a bullseye from 350 ft in.

The teebird is a great disc, just ask any innova sponsored pro. For some reason, I had something against teebirds when I first started playing just because it seemed like everybody threw them. I didn't want to throw what everyone else was throwing so I never gave the teebird a shot. When I finally broke down and bought one, it pretty much changed my game. I didn't have any fairway drivers that just weant dead straight and had a predictable fade. You would think that this is what most fairway drivers would do. It is really just like a farther and faster roc. Although an Eagle is now my go-to fairway driver, I still have a Teebird in my bag for when I need it, and that is pretty often.

This is by far my favorite disc! If I need to make a good shot I can always throw my tee bird with confidence.

Just like the chart shows, dead straight for about 300 feet then fades left reliably everytime.

    Must have.

Nothing is as accurate as a new champ the bird! Ace magnet for me on holes 300 or less! Love it!

I have been throwing a max weight 11x champion teebird for some time and it has chunks missing out of the edge. I bought a new star teebird at max weight recently and the champion version is still more stable.

The Teebird is my go-to fairway driver for just about anything other than high winds and serious turnovers. It is one of the most consistent fairway drivers ever created due the perfect blend of stability, glide, and fade. When mine started (175g Champion Teebird plus), it was a touch overstable and has since settled into a very nice and VERY straight flyer. Yesterday, on a 320ft hole, I threw a dead straight drive that faded slightly at the end to park 3 feet from the basket... and that's common for this disc - very straight and very accurate. Many players keep several of these in their bags at various stages of wear to achieve different stability levels for different types of shots. It is one of the most consistent and versatile drivers on the market. If I could only keep 1 driver, it would be the Teebird. NOTE: my disc is the Teebird+ (plus mold), which has a slanted inner rim. I did NOT like it at first because the rim felt different (thicker and slanted) than all of my other discs which led to inconsistency. After a while, I learned how to throw it and now it's one of my favorites! I have heard that the + mold is slightly more stable (I would hesitate to call any Teebird overstable) than the standard mold, but I don't have the experience to tell whether or not this is true. The only other Teebird I have ever thrown to compare it to was a 165g DX Teebird that I had for 3 days before losing it [sad face]. The 175 Champion plus is a great deal more "overstable" than that disc (which is to be expected being heavier and in champion plastic). However, both discs are fantastic. If you don't have a Teebird... get one!!!

If you are looking for a nice beginner disc that has very little turn and medium speed for a slower arm speed, this is the disc for you. Innova's Teebird fly's straight and direct with enough glide to give you that fairway desired distance. This disc is good for longer upshots or narrow tight fairways, where you need to keep the the shot in play to score. When used and beat in, the star and champion plastic Teebird is exceptionable for hyzer flips. Overall this disc will fly long and straight for beginners to intermediate players with the potential arm speed to gain more distance and accuracy.

As I said earlier, Champion plastic was little overstable for me. I loved Dx Teebird, but not much Champion Teebird. I beat the heck out of that champion plastic though, just to make it more similar flight of the dx plastic. It needs slight any-line on champion plastic to match the flight line of dx plastic.

Just recently traded for a Champion Plus TeeBird. I had never thrown a TeeBird before getting it. I am amazed by this disc. It definitely lives up to the hype and good ratings. This disc flies super straight for a long time and always fades back to the left. I also seem to love this disc for sidearm flicks when I am in trouble. Overall, just a fantastic disc!
