The Emperor is a great disc for medium to faster arm speeds. It acts very similar to a star destroyer. It has a great dome that allows for a lot of glider.

An approachable driver that when beat in and you develop a bit more arm speed can get a little flippy. It's one of my furthest flying discs, but I don't reach for that often as I play mostly shorter wooded courses.

I realized that I had only review the I-blend Emperor, but I had not yet reviewed the Splatter and Glow Metal Flake versions.

The Splatter S-Blend is my favorite variation of this disc. It seems to be a little bit more overstable than the metal flake. Out of the box it is a lot like a Destroyer - both in feel and in flight. I love that it's so reliable! It can withstand a decent amount of wind, depending on your release angle. When thrown flat, it's got a nice predictable fade. For me, it also has enough overstability to come out of the anny release after a bit. This is an ideal disc to back multiples of - whether it's different stages of wear, different plastic types, or different weights. You're going to see the nuanced differences in them.

The Glow Metal Flake variation is a touch more understable in my experience. My pair are also a bit flatter than the Splatter ones I have. These feel better in my hand for forehand grip. The flight characteristics are very similar to the splatter, but just with a touch more understability from my experience.

I find both of these WAY more reliable than the I Blend which can bomb but is somewhat unpredictable.

This is by far the best disc in Infinite's lineup, IMO. I've bagged it since I received my first one almost a year ago. For me (a higher speed, RHBH thrower), it is like a straighter destroyer. Very nice, and I highly recommend!

This disc is nothing short of amazing. It has taken over my forehand shot from the Defender.  I love the splatter plastic. It is very consistent and reliable in the Oklahoma wind. Would be a great fit for someone who has a very powerful forehand.

The run of S-Blend of Emperor I have ran more overstable then I was expecting but proved to show me that this is a great disc! I believe this disc, like most, will have a lot of different slight variations in the stability spectrum. My MAIN TAKEAWAY is this: if you like the flight of a Destroyer but you have always wanted something that feels ever so slightly deeper in the hand; this is the right disc for you! I highly suggest any variation of Infinite's S-Blend Plastic it feels fantastic. From what I have gathered from other friends that have the Emperor I honestly believe you can find this disc in all the slightly different stability spectrums just like the Destroyer! I 100% recommend giving a try if this disc interests you!

This disc flies and feels very similar to the last run of Mcbeth destroyers which were produced. This disc is stable, and does not exhibit any turn in the star or metal flake glow c blend plastics fresh out of the box. These discs fly like a new destroyer with just a bit more glide. The emperor is great for both sidearm and backhand as it has a comfortable rim, and shallow dome. This is a great disc, and could easily be cycled as a go-to distance driver kept in several stages of wear. This is another example of a great product produced by infinite discs.

The emperor is exactly the distance driver I've been wanting. Incredible glide and just enough stability to actually use that glide. My maximum distance for the emperor has been just North of 500. My normal distance with control is around 450ish.

The emperor has become my go-to driver I carry 3. Splatter Emperor is my super OS Emperor for anything that needs to got left or fight the wind but isn't so bad that I need my Slab. The C-blend is my go-to shot shaper, most workable version of the Emperor. I have another C-blend that is super flippy because it is 164g. I use this for rforehands and turn over distance drives. The other two are max weight.

Ever wonder what a ricky wing splatter star destroyer would fly like? Now you can because the emperor is very much so in the same wheelhouse as a destroyer. In the splatter s blend I have 2 examples both 172g but.... just like the new ricky run of destroyers there are 2 different wings for this mold. I have one with the 4x mcbeth wing and one with the new revised "destroyer-L" "Ricky wing" whatever you want to call the less overstable version of this disc both discs with a very mild/little dome.

The Emperor is familiar feeling, almost a 1 for 1 with you average destroyer/destroyer clone. I would say it's very much so in the same realm of versatility of said disc. The more dome you get the more overstable your emperor will be and depending upon what wing you get will dictate how its going to behave. The flatter revised wing Emperor will have a very straight flight with a late fade and a respectable amount of glide. While the more aggressive wing will have a straight flight with a more aggressive fade. This disc will fill that slot of a primary overstable distance driver and as such its going to be one you want a few of at different stages of wear to cover different flights. Like the other discs this derived from the emperor is very much so versatile I found it to be a great workhorse distance driver for backhand and its generally flatter profiles made it a great option for forehand.

The Emperor will handle most wind situations well so long as the thrower knows how to read the situation appropriately.

The emperor is likely too fast and overstable for beginners to get use out of, I would recommend it for more advanced levels of play.

Overall it's hard to give the emperor more than a 4/5 stars. It's really just a destroyer with another name attached to it (looking at you DD3 and Zeus) and if it fancies you it's probably worth a throw.

This disc was just what the doctor ordered. Faster than fairway, but more controllable than your average high speed driver. I found it to be over stable with a strong finish I could count on even in the wind. I like the plastic, feel, and flight. Well done Infinite and Innova, well done!!

    Boom City Express!

Infinite discs has been batting 1.000 with their releases, and the Emperor is no exception. While wide-rimmed distance drivers aren't for everyone and every skill level, the Emperor is a great slightly overstable distance driver for the masses. Hand feel is quite comprable to the well-loved Destroyer, with maybe a sharper rim edge. It fits great in both a powergrip and a forehand grip.

Flight-wise, the Emperor is very much (once again) like a Destroyer...albeit a perfectly seasoned one. The glide is excellent, but not so much that the wind takes it makes it uncontrollable. Out of the hand, you'll see a slight bit of turn, drifting slowly off the release line. The Emperor isn't exactly a wind-fighter, but a touch of hyzer can withstand much in the way of wind. As the discs slows, it fades back online before dropping off fairly steeply at the end of the flight. However, this sharp fade isn't dramatic or uncontrollable.

And that sums up the Emperor: CONTROLLABLE. Anyone with a good arm or a modicum of skill will find the Emperor to be the perfect "go-to" distance driver. Highly reccomended!

This is a great stable/overstable distance driver out of the box. I've been told that it is a retooled Destroyer with a Shryke top, in which you'll get a straighter flight with a little more glide and that Destroyer finish that you can always rely on. I compare it most to a McBeth Destroyer that is just starting to beat in to that sweet spot. I've had some local big arms throw it around (450+ ft), and they were able to coax a little turn out of it when thrown flat and then hook nicely up at the end. I personally use it for stable flex lines, and power forehands. It has become a staple in the bag, and I can't wait to see how it beats in over time.

The Splatter S-Blend Emperor is a moderately stable 12-speed workhorse driver suitable for most players as both a reliable backhand and sidearm option. This disc is great for max distance drives! It's comfortable to grip and similar in both feel and flight to a Scorpius or Destroyer.

The Splatter S-Blend Emperor is a great distance driver from Infinite Discs. This disc is very similar to a Destroyer, with a touch more glide from my experience. The S-Blend is very similar to Star plastic.

For me, fresh out of the box, this disc is a little overstable for my arm speed for an everyday driver. I really like this disc for my sidearm, as it will fly straight and then fade pretty significantly at the end of the flight. This would also be very useful in headwinds. Great feel in the hand. I would imagine it will become more usable for me as it continues to become more seasoned.

Great feel in the hand, great flight, great glide. Infinite has done it again! Not to mention the Splatter S-Blend produces some awesome looking discs.

The Splatter S-Blend Emperor is very similar to a Star Destroyer with a little more glide. Straight out of the box I was able to throw the Emperor flat with zero thoughts of it turning over. It deals with high wind situations very well and it is the high speed driver that I throw in big head wind scenarios.

The I-Blend Emperor is considerably more understable. I wouldn't consider it in the same ballpark as the Splatter S-Blend. I have found good use for mine as a roller disc.

Great disc! If you are looking for something kind of like a destroyer with a little more flip, this is the disc for you. It holds very straight with a good amount of fade at the end. I highly recommend this disc for anyone looking to get big/controlled distance.
