The Emperor makes distance shots fun. Certainly out of all of the Destroyer-modeled distance drivers the Emperor holds the spot in my bag. Where recent runs of the Destroyer have been quite flat, allowing for little glide, the Emperor has succeeded in being reliably domey, gliding for much further than the competition regularly. This is a disc ecosystem that you can buy into knowing that there is no shortage of options available to you. Thrown hard, the Emperor will flip, turn, and then fade for maximum push on the ground. Into a headwind, the reliable overstability of a new Emperor will prove itself time and time again as it finishes back to the fairway. This is not a disc for beginners, who would be better suited with an array of slower options. For intermediate players throwing under 50MPH this will likely not be your farthest flying disc, but will hold a spot for a more overstable compliment to your farthest flying driver. For anyone throwing between 50MPH and 65MPH this very well will hold a spot in your bag as your longest-shot option. For anything more, Emperors may be a touch flippy, but if you're throwing faster than 65MPH, stop reading reviews, you know what you're looking for.

If you like the Destroyer but it's a little beefy for you the Emperor is the disc for you.  I've thrown this disc in several different plastics but love the feel of the concrete plastic.  It's a little gummy to dig your thumb into and also just seems to fly the furthest for me.  It gives me a little turn out of the hand but goes straight for quite some time before fading back.

The Emporer is an amazing distance driver for most skill levels. It will act as a nice stable distance/utility driver for beginners, and for more advanced players, it will be your go-to bomber disc.

The emperor has a similar feel to the Innova destroyer and somewhat similar flight, except it has a touch more turn and a lot more glide. It is almost like a beat in destroyer right out of the box and usually has a nice dome to it. The I-blend emperor is by far the most understable run, being similar to a faster wraith, and my favorite run so far has been the concrete empower. It has the perfect stability and best glide and is by far the best "bomber" or go-to run of the emperor.

The Emperor can hold up to both forehand and backhand and should be the go-to driver for most players. Instead of getting a destroyer, get an emperor instead!

The Emperor is the quintessential distance driver.  If you have a big enough arm to get a full flight out of a 12 speed the Emperor will be a great disc for you.  I have thrown this disc over 500' on more than one occasion.  Compared to a Destroyer the Emperor seems to go a little bit further.  They have a similar feel in the hand, but at the end of the flight Destroyers tend to dump over to the left for me while the Emperor tends to keep pushing foreword as it is finishing left.
