This review is technically for the Halo S-Blend, but it could also apply to their standard S-Blend, Swirly S-Blend, or Stardust Emperors.  Compared to the many Destroyers I've thrown, the Emperor for me has actually had much more consistency in their shape/flight characteristics for the ones I've tried.

My Emperors have always had a fairly pronounced dome, and a sharp wing profile.  On a light hyzer, I see very little turn, but it holds the angle and pushes for most of the flight, with a steady but not sharp fade.  On a light anhyzer, the Emperor likes to hold its line, but starts fighting out around the mid-point, allowing for some great s-line flights.

For throwers in the 350-400 range, I think the Emperor is the perfect overstable distance driver.  It can stand up to a reasonable headwind, but definitely isn't as overstable as some may expect from a "Halo" plastic.  I can imagine anyone with 450+ feet of power would find the emperor to be a great bomber disc, but might see a bit more high-speed turn than I have.

In my search for stable distance drivers, I stumbled upon a run of domey Halo Emperors. I am unsure if I have thrown a disc that goes so far into a headwind as these. I throw hard, low to mid 80mph and when brand new I can hammer these and don't have to worry about them flipping. As they beat in they become much more controllable and seem to be less finicky than destroyers while still having the elite push forward. This is a must-have for any Professional looking for controllable and consistent distance drivers.

I absolutely love the emperor. I had been throwing destroyers for a long time and it was time for a change. While very similar to the destroyer, it seems like it has a little extra on it distance wise. The emporer was such an easy replacement. It feels great in the hand, goes far, and has great consistency.

Halo S- Blend- 12, 5, 0, 3 - The Halo S-blend is nice and overstable while still maintaining it's great glide. Big dome and stiff plastic. Very very similar to the 2021 Calvin Heimburg Halo Destroyer. Overstable, consistent distance.

Swirly S-Blend- 12, 5, -1, 2.5 - The Swirly S-blend is a consistent bomber distance driver. Much more neutral than the Halo variant. Usually a more mild dome. Love this for bigger distance and a stragihter flight than the halos.

The Emporer is probably my favorite disc in Infinite's lineup. This mold has been a staple of my bag for the past five years. I always have at least one and usually multiple in my bag in different plastics at all times (unless I'm playing Johnny Roberts!). The Halo S-Blend plastic is my favorite for consistent overstability. The Kona I-Blend Emporers are my favorite for max-distance bomber flex shots! If you haven't tried one yet, you're messing up!

Great straight to overstable driver. I have it in halo and i-blend. It's like a beat in but still overstable destroyer very nice flight for backhand and forehand.

Big fan of the Emperor!  It has amazing glide and the stability to take all the power you can give without sacrificing control.  I currently carry two Emperors in the bag and think of it as my workhorse driver.  The Swirly S-Blend GG feels great and glides for days.  The Halo S-Blend has a little more stability for full power forehand drives on windy days.  This is a great distance driver and deserves strong consideration for a spot in your bag.

Great disc, this one is easier to use than a halo destroyer for newer players.

The Halo-S is a beautiful disc! It is pretty beefy, but it still glides and fades forward a touch more than a stock Destroyer does. Holds its stability in a headwind and is a great distance driver. So far, I'd say all the Emperors I've thrown/handled are much more consistent than stock Destroyers are so if you love Destroyers give this one a try!

    Halo S Blend Emperor

Its like a destroyer, but it goes further because it glides more. The halo blend is pretty stable so it's good for forehands and windy situations. It also goes very far if thrown on some anhyzer. You won't regret trying one out.

    Beefy but still bombs!!!

I was able to throw my friends Halo Emperor several times and I would compare it to a Halo Destroyer pretty favorably. Into a 10 MPH wind I was able to see a slight turn. No wind or downwind I couldn't get turn but it wasn't so beefy that I didn't still get great distance.

Hand fell is great, the plastic looks and feels awesome too!

    5 Stars.

Awesome disc! I bought a max weight and a 171, the 171 turns a little and glides for a looong time, the max weight goes straight and has good glide but it is noticeably more os. Both have a spot in my bag. And they look amazing!

This disc is a 4x destroyer with way better glide. A+++

Halo S Blend. I bought this because it looked cool, expecting it to be super overstable like halo destroyers. Not the case. This disc absolutely goes forever, it's almost difficult to believe. The glide is way more than I was expecting.

I throw it almost exclusively forehand. I can push discs 400+ ft with forehand, but that usually requires a flippier driver and a lot of open space for a big S-curve flight. The halo Emperor can almost match that distance with a much more controllable straight or hyzer shot with the slightest bit of turn.

It's still an overstable disc and requires a good bit of power to fly. I would not recommend it for beginners at all. If you have the arm speed though, you will be surprised and how much controllable distance you can get from this thing. The glide is insane, I really cannot overstate that.

I loved the I blend and the s-blend double g version, but this plastic is super gummy and grippy. I like the dome on this much more than the double g. It has an enormous amount of glide it's still stable enough to always finish initially out of the box. The confidence and comfort I have with this disc is unreal. Immediately in the bag and top 10 favorites.
