The Emperor is my main distance driver, after trying a number of 12 speed distance drivers I found the Emperor fits my game the best.  In general the Emperor is a very glidey and long 12 speed driver, with a solid and dependable fade.  I find that  this disc in most plastics are a little less stable than a Destroyer or some other beefier 12 speeds, so depending on your arm speed you should see some turn out of the box.

What I like about the Emperor is the variety of plastics it is available in.  You need to spend some time and learn Infinite discs plastics, but once you do you can cover a number of different stabilities with the same mold.  I own Emperors in a number of plastics, with I-blend and G-blend being my flippier bombers.  These two plastics tend to have more dome which I think helps give it more glide.  The I-blend does beat in relatively fast however.  For a more overstable flight, I bag both a max weight Halo Emperor and a 172g Swirly Star Garret Gurthie.  The Swirly Star is somewhat flat and actually quite beefy, but I find it useful for flex shots and for forehand drives.  The Halo star has a big pop top dome, and gets good glide and distance, but still has a pretty strong overstable finish.

I upgraded to the G blend Emperor from the G Star Destroyer. The G blend is a lot more stable. It is more like a star destroyer, but with the nice gummy G blend plastic. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for something more stable than the G Star Destroyer.

The G blend Emperor is my favorite distance driver when I want a finish.  At my elevation of 5,000ft and my arm I can get 380-400ft.  Thrown on a baby hyzer it will flip up with a slight turn go straight then great gliding finish.  It is also a wonderful forehand disc.  I throw all the blends, but I love the feel of the G blend compared to the other blends especially in cold damp weather.

My first 12 speed, definitely took some getting used to but has become my farthest flying at up 400ft. My G-blend, 169g, is stable and will flip up really well but can flirt with turning over and doesn't always come back fully. It did start like a star destroyer but beat in more understable. All in all very consistent long flying disc. Will buy again, from my other Infinite molds I know C-blend or high if you don't want it understable. Want to get the GG S blend as they tend to be more overstable.

It has a good stable and reliable finish and if thrown flat and with enough arm speed this disc will fly... far.

The emperor to me is the must have distance driver in the Infinite lineup. For more skilled players and big arm throwers, the emperor will be a massive distance disc. For more intermediate players like myself this disc will to a stable to overstable distance driver you can trust in the wind and for turnover lines or spike hyzers. I really love how this disc flies for me knowing it is stable and won't flip over like the Pharaoh may. The emperor I have is a little bit of a pop top which I think adds to the stability of it, so if you have a less pop top disc it may fly pretty straight with a stable finish. The emperor is like the destroyer or Zeus for other companies and anyone throwing Infinite discs should bag at least one for their distance shots. I am very excited to see how this disc flies when beat in, I am hoping it will be a trustworthy straight flier with consistent fade like you can find from those other drivers listed above. I caution new players because this disc requires a high armspeed to get a true flight out of and even intermediates may find this disc too overstable for them. But you can not go wrong purchasing an emperor if you are looking for a distance driver.
