The Deputy is a new putt and approach disc from Dynamic Discs. This putter has a more shallow rim and understable flight path. You will find it to be a very straight-flying putter within the circle. The popular disc golfer Paige Pierce uses this for her close putts.

Let me just start off by saying that the Classic Soft Burst plastic from DD might be my favorite plastic for putters.  It's grippy and has a feels perfect releasing from the hand.  For me, the Deputy has become my go to for pretty much all of my C1 putts.  I bought one at 173g, but for some reason, this disc feels very light in my hand, even compared to other lighter putters.  The lightweight feel combined with the grippy Classic Soft plastic results in a controllable, consistent putter that is great for beginners.

I'm less comfortable with the Deputy as a throwing putter, but having an understable option has been nice for shorter anhyzer approaches.  Overall, this is a putter I love and will be keeping in my bag for a long time!

The deputy specifically in classic soft (burst) is a great disc! It rounds up to a 5 star, but its not without my small criticisms, those out of the way first it has a low profile and that makes if feel really thin in the hand to hold. Its got a mini bead on it so not enough to bother most beadles players and just enough for beaded players to feel, i personally am a Beadles guy but I still don't mind it with how small it is. if your a beaded guy its there its just not very big, so you'll have to let me know how that feels to you. And that's all the criticisms,, from there on its amazing, got great glide and controllability its understable and that helps with the really long go for it putts, this plastic feels like a new eraser and has some give for the chains but not enough to make throwing it any different. Love this disc, bought it to replace my putter that bounced out a bunch and so far its great. No bounce outs so far, iI'l update this review once I've had it for longer, but right now it feels like my go to putting putter.

LOVE IT!  I've quickly become attached to this disc.  It's my main putting putter and I love to throw flip-up's with it in the woods.  It has a good amount of glide but not too much to where it can very easily get away from you.  It's relatively shallow, which I love but if you want something a bit deeper check out the warden, or really deep, the guard.  Would highly recommend this putter@

I picked this up yesterday at Sedgley Woods in Philadelphia, they seem to frequently have boxes of discs for sale and it's always great stuff and super friendly staff! Saw this one in a box and grabbed it, and I am so glad that I did! I have been looking for an understable approach disc to throw for those holes and shots where there is no room to start the disc out to the right; or on a tee shot where I want some right turn. I used this disc for almost every shot and I've never played better! I hit the basket twice off the tee and I scored 5 birdies! This disc went exactly where I wanted it to with that little bit of right turn that I wanted. I said somewhat beginner friendly only because for me, I am newer to the sport and not used to understable discs. It took a bit of adjustment and trust in the disc to aim to the left of the target. I have found that on most of my local courses, if I can throw a putter straight off the tee between 250-300 ft, I am in great shape. I do use some mids but on shorter and tighter courses, I find I don't really need them. I am planning on using this off the tee regularly on shots where I need it to fly either straight or I need some turn to the right. I can't speak to the durability as I just started using it. It did get some scuffs from a couple of tree and rock hits, but my initial impressions of this disc is so high that if I wasn't able to use the one I have anymore, I'd buy another one. If you want a great approach disc that will hold straight and have some right turn for a righty backhand, get this disc!!
