Definitely fits the "understable putter" description. This thing is definitely not for any sort of long approach (especially in the wind), but is one heck of a putter. Its understability allows for lots of versatility in your lines and can get you out of some tough situations. Overall it's a really great putter.

This is my go to putting putter. I had previously been using the DD Warden, and found that with the way that I putt the warden kept hyzering out before the basket. After some research I found the Deputy, and have been putting with it ever since. This is the straightest putter I've ever putt with anywhere circle 2 and in.

This disc is great for beginners learning how to throw hyzer-flip shots and turnover shots.

I'm a RHBH one-disc-per-round golfer with long, slow arms. Max distance for me is around 375ft. 

I've thrown a 173g, Classic Burst Deputy for a few rounds now. Here's my initial thoughts:  

This is a great mellow disc. Classis Burst is nice in the hand and pretty durable. 

The numbers on this disc are seem perfect for me (and my slow arm): 3, 4, -1.5, 0

My current favorite putter is a Hunter, followed by a Mercy. This one ties with a Keystone for 3rd. The Keystone has a touch more fade. The Deputy will pull a bit rightward sometimes. But they're both very nice discs. 

The deputy is very good for understable approaches and the Classic soft plastic is extra good for sticking to the ground.

I don't personally have one of these in my bag, but a friend of mine let me throw his disc around the other day, and let me tell you, it was amazing. If you are a spin putter you want this disc to hit those far putts from now on. It holds its line for so long and is just absolutely amazing!
