    This disc is a favorite of Prodigy's fans as an overstable approach disc. The A3 is beaded, and has a wide rim for an approach disc. This wide rim makes forehand releases clean and accurate.

    Prodigy 400G plastic is the base 400 plastic mixed with another resin that gives the plastic a slightly different feel. This additive makes the disc more durable and grippier.

    Good for forehand approaches, takes practice to be confident with it

    This disc definitely has a role in my bag. The stability and the beefyness makes this disc an easy choice if you have a ton of wind to deal with on the approach. If I am throwing forehand, this disc feels like a natural selection, as it is consistent and flies well with a dependable short skip. On backhand approaches, this disc feels super duper stable to me. Like, I need to throw it very hard to even get a solid flex on it. I really don't see a soft backhand being an option with this disc unelss it is some kind of serious get out of trouble bend shot. 

    With all this being said, you can probably see how this disc can definitely fit a niche that you will probably have a need for during most rounds. I recommend you adding this to your bag.
