This disc is a favorite of Prodigy's fans as an overstable approach disc. The A3 is beaded, and has a wide rim for an approach disc. This wide rim makes forehand releases clean and accurate.

Beaded overstable approach. the bead is an elongation of the wall (like a pilot) so it's not very noticable. I thought I didn't like beaded discs until this. It's much more overstable than the zone/harp out of the box.So much so that I had to learn to adjust my throws 5-10 degrees to the left of my zone shots. I'd say it's very usuable for beginners but keep the overstability in mind. It also whistles when thrown.

300 plastic will have a nice straight to overstable flight and and fade hard. 300 feels like a very nice grippy base plastic. The glide of the disc prevents it from dumping. 300 plastic will have very little skip and typically stick to the ground. It has been my main aproach for well over a year and still has a very overstable finish. I really like to use it for overstable mid shots or  a 200 foot spike hyzer. About to grab another one to start cycling.

I also have a couple in 400g. It takes longer to beat in and flies slightly more overstable than 300. 400g is tacky and feels like a very premium star. 400g has noticibly more skip.

Amazing disc. First disc I found that I really like forehanding for short shots. 300 plastic is great but can lose its stability and warp pretty easy so I am still on the hunt for a more durable plastic one that I like.
