The Thunderbird is my favorite hybrid driver ever. Fresh out of the box it will rip for days released flat with a modest predictable fade at the end of the flight, but it will also bomb a hyzer line for a good long way almost like an FD3. Beat in a little bit it is a perfect hyzer-flip in the woods. Forehand, it will fly straight for 300 feet or so before fading to the right. It has enough fade that you can even flex it. This is one of my most favorite discs ever. Unfortunately, I lost my only GStar Thunderbird in the water, so I’m in a bit of a fix until I get a new one.

This is my favorite mold ever, i use this for 1 or 2 disc rounds, i learned how to spike hyzer, anny flex, tomahawk and forehand with this disc. It will hold a spot in my heart and bag. i have the first one i started with about 2 and a half years ago and it is in my bag no matter what, great first distance driver, and great for the dependable fade. This is My go to utility driver, and i have one in DX for the flippy shots that still need fade.

Have fun throwing this disc, you will be happy in whatever plastic you choose.

I needed to replace my speed 9 driver at a tournament and picked up a Thunderbird and am glad that I did.  Very dependable, straight flying with a predictable fade makes this a new favorite disc for me.  I'm a noodle arm but can consistantly hit 280-300' with this disc.  Highly recommend it.  Thus far I've not had any issues with the grip on it and the rim just feels good to me.  Bonus that mine is a swirly purple!
