The champion run of the thunderbird is quite more overstable than you might expect. Originally I was turned away because of this since I already had the overstable control driver spot filled in my bag, but with just a bit of breaking in this disc has such a reliable flight and goes much further than expected. It won't hold a straight line very long when thrown flat or with anyhzer, but for it's characteristics, it goes extremely far with a reliable fade. This disc will be great for players that like to throw drives to the right and have them fade in towards the basket, and need a reliable disc that can be thrown short or long.

Come on man. Its a Champion Thunderbird. The golden GOAT. I use this for Backhand smashes that I want to be relatively controlled as well as dead straight forehand tunnel shots. Its not rocket science, its simply an amazing disc. From the way it fits into your hand to the versatility which it provides. If you don't have one right now I don't know what you are doing. Go get one. It will solve your problems.

This was the first x-out disc that i had bought and i was very anxious to see if i could figure out why is was x'd. the champion plastic made it fairly easy to spot but there was an about a 1/4 of an inch scratch on the rim and a slight indention around the scratch. i was very happy to see such a minor issue causing it to get the x.

The first few times throwing the disc i had some issues which were resulting in it going far too left. the second time bringing the disc out on a course i chose a course with more open fairways hoping to get the issues i was having before resolved. I'm not sure if i was looser and more relaxed or just having a good arm day but i immediately started getting exactly what i wanted from the disc which was accuracy and distance. there was a bit of wind on the course that day but it didn't seem to bother the thunderbird at all.
