Shimmer Star plastic is very similar, if not identical to, regular Star plastic. The difference is the "shimmery" look.

I'm still trying to figure this disc out. I don't find it to be as overstable as advertised even when new. It could be the plastic. I do find that I prefer RHFH with this disc over RHBH.
