This review is for the flat-top color glow champ Roc3.

This disc is an integral part of my midrange line-up.  Out of the box, it has the most beautiful flex line I've ever seen.  It just doesn't drop.  My drives usually max out at around 350 feet, but on my first throw with this Roc3, on a huge flex line, it sailed and parked itself on a 290-ft hole.  I can always trust this disc to come back, which is very reassuring in windy conditions when I know my Lion can't handle it.  I use this disc for flex shots, sharper midrange hyzer shots, and straight shots with a harder fade at the end.  Combined with a Lion (for dead straight and smooth anhyzers) and a Gator (for those special circumstances where only a Gator will do), I've got all my midrange shots covered.

This review is referring to any flat top Roc including the absolutely amazing flat top KC Pro Rocs that I throw. Feel-wise, you're either going to like the feel of the bead or you're not. Personally, I have small hands and initially opted for a beadless mid. However, I eventually found more consistency in the stable flight and the bead of the Roc3. Beating one of these discs in is the dream. Getting that slow flip is signature to this mold and so unique. For that alone, I would say this is a must-try disc.

I use the blue Joe Rovere color glow roc3. It is is very stable. Will fly straight for 70% of flight and end with dependable amount of fade. The color glow plastic feels wonderfully grippy while being extremely durable. I feel very confident whenever I throw this disc backhand. It's the perfect backhand disc. For some reason though, the roc3 is really fussy when thrown forehand with any power. Throw something else forehand.

Not for beginners, they should get a roc3 that is both cheaper and lighter weight.
