I have a champ roc3 that was one of the first mids I ever bought, starting out I loved it for forehand shots. It is over stable enough to be torque resistant and is easy to flick right up to the basket on approach shots. Thrown backhand it will fly true to the numbers. I have an emac truth I typically prefer for backhands but I will throw the roc3 if I need a touch more over stability.

    167 grams in Champion Plastic:

I am so glad I listened to the reviews and blog posts about this disc. I sure see why so many people love this  disc. Definitely one of my main tools in my bag. You can always count on the fade of this disc. Great for mid range hyzer lines and flex shots. Even a disc I like to throw forehead. I only have this in a Champion plastic and think champion is probably the best but really haven't tested out the other plastics for this model at least. I don't think I'd recommend it for someone just starting since all if there shots tend to already hook no matter what the throw. Once they have played for a bit and get the throw down then I'd say grab this disc for sure!

This was the first overstable midrange that I threw and it would hold most lines that I threw it on. I love the beed that it has and it just fits very comfortable in my hand

This is my go-to disc for mid-range drives and shots where I need to use a forehand for an approach. The roc3 holds a consistent straight line when thrown with full power, but it also can be used to bend around obstacles when slowed down or thrown on a hyzer. The only issue I have with the disc is the fear of losing it because I have it in a champion purple dye. Awesome disc!

The Champion Roc3 has been in my bag for a couple months now, because I needed something that would finish more left than my Elite Z Buzzz, (RHBH) but not uncontrollably so like the Buzzz OS. The Roc3, in my opinion, mimics a Buzzz that is thrown into about a 15mph tailwind, but with a little more fade. When I want a straight shot but am facing a slight headwind, this is my disc I use. With no wind, this disc can be thrown flat for straight flight with an appreciable fade at the end. I recommend a Buzzz for beginners, but the Roc3 is great for bigger arms, or those seeking a reliable mid that can finish with a slight fade. Great Midrange.
