Not as stable as the numbers suggest. Bead is too big. This and the wasp just don't do it for me. I need more torque resistance and better hand feel out of my straight-OS mid slot.

176 gram Innova Roc3 Champion Plastic. Mine is a factory second, which I reccomment. Innova's factory seconds are normally a few dollars cheaper than the non-flawed versions, however these are cosmetic flaws only. The flight is completely unaffected. I have 4 different factory second discs, all in Champion plastic, and any cosmetic defects are barely noticeable. My blue Roc3 has maybe 3 tiny little black specks in it, which do not bother me at all. I cannot comment on the consistency of Innova Champion plastic over time, but the plastic in the 4 discs I have accumulated in the past year seem identical. While the Roc3 is an overstable midrange, it still flies very straight when thrown hard. It has a good consistent fade for about the last 20% of its flight but it does not instantly hook left and fall out of the sky. It might be the only beaded disc I throw but the bead has never been an issue. I do not throw mine a ton but it is nice to have it when a head wind might cause the Buzzz to get a little squirrelly.

If you're trying to decide on a overstable mid range to try look no further then the roc3 I use this mold in two plastics champion and DX I use the champion for shots. I can rip hard and have a nice straight flight before a controlled fade to the left. in the Dx plastic I like to get them pretty beat in so I can use them for very flippy turnover lines. Having less molds in the bag is good for many reasons and having the same mold in various stages of ware can really help you improve on consistency because of the same feel in your hand over and over again. I do use coyotes however for a dead straight mid range shot and a star croc when I know my roc3s just cant hang into a wind but when the wind is down and i need a consistent finish to the left, I look no further then the roc3

The Roc3 is my go to midrange for a variety of shots. I will carry 2-4 roc3s in a variety of plastics depending on the course I'm playing. Pro plastic will provide a little straighter flight with more glide. I will use it for wooded lines that I need a fairly straight flight without turning over to the right.I will use a star and metal flake champion roc3 for gentle hyzers from 250-300+ either in the woods or in the open. I recently started throwing the Joe Revere Color Glow roc3 and it has the most reliable fade of any roc3s I've thrown without being dumpy. If I need to make sure I get that fade from 250-275 I'm going with this disc. I would recommend beginners start with the Roc for a midrange to learn their lines. As arm speed increases or if you need a touch more stability, then pick up a Roc3 and enjoy the results.
