The Leopard is the classic, straight-flying Innova fairway driver. This disc is very popular in starter sets thanks to the reliable flight path and limited fade. It’s not the fastest flying disc (speed 6) but new players will likely see more distance with the Leopard than just about any other disc. While the Leopard is great for beginners, it can be found in bags of more advanced players as well. With moderate throws this disc is perfect for weaving between narrow lines of trees. It also makes a good turnover driver that slices to the right, and a good roller disc as well. If you want a great disc to perfect your throwing technique, buy a handful of inexpensive DX Leopards and head to a field.

I originally got this disc so that I could work on my backhand drives.  It has definitely helped.  It has some good glide and its flight allows me to get some good distance, even more than almost all of my distance drivers.  If thrown flat it will get a little turn and then stay straight for quite a while, before fading slightly to the left (RHBH).  This is a very dependable disc, and I highly recommend it to beginners who are looking for a good disc to throw off the tee.

I bag a couple echo star leopards.  This really should be the first driver all new players get.  I wish somebody hadn't handed me a destroyer.....This thing can be thrown dead straight.  As my arm and control have developed the leopard has become a great controlled turnover disc for me, or a powered down hyzer flip to flat disc.  These are a perfect compliment to the stable teebird and the overstable eagle.  Everytime I bring somebody new out for a round, I make sure they get to carry one of my leopards.

I started buying them in echostar plastic.  It seems to hold up just as well as the star blend and at a cheaper price, I've found myself purchasing more of them.

this disc is a good disc. but not exactly for my throwing style. i over power it alot and it turns over sooner than id like. obviously its great for some shots but theres nothing id use this disc for that my roc3 isnt better for. had this disc in my bag for a while but use it the least. id recommend it more for beginners. i perfer somthing with a little more speed. maybe if they made a leapard3 thatd be more my style

Lost my Pro Leopard, but now I have a 172 EchoStar Leopard. The EchoStar plastic is a little domey, but feels nice. This disc is truly amazing. When it gets a lot of glide, this disc is the longest 6 speed disc you will ever throw. The EchoStar plastic has taken a while to break in, but the Leopard flies super straight and can hold a good anhyzer line. I recommend this disc to beginners.
