The Leopard is the classic, straight-flying Innova fairway driver. This disc is very popular in starter sets thanks to the reliable flight path and limited fade. It’s not the fastest flying disc (speed 6) but new players will likely see more distance with the Leopard than just about any other disc. While the Leopard is great for beginners, it can be found in bags of more advanced players as well. With moderate throws this disc is perfect for weaving between narrow lines of trees. It also makes a good turnover driver that slices to the right, and a good roller disc as well. If you want a great disc to perfect your throwing technique, buy a handful of inexpensive DX Leopards and head to a field.

Very much a Disc Golf virgin here, but this is one of my favorite discs right now. This is a classic disc for beginners and always will be. Right now, I don't forsee this disc leaving my bag but in the words of McGruber, "Never ever say never ever." Disc numbers seem spot on and this is a fun disc to throw, I can release it on a hyzer and it will flip up then fade out softly. Would definitely recommend this disc to any beginner.

The leopard, like most golfers was my first disc. I in fact have my very first 161g DX purple leopard, which I only use for stand still big turnover shots.

As for the leopard out of the box, it is a very straight shooter. I throw them today, even with a stronger arm.  If you need a disc to go straight with little effort this is the one, I often grab on instead of my mid ranges. On the flip side if you need an easy shot with some reliable turn just put a little more behind it, and trust it to still finish left at the end.

It is one of my favorite discs to throw!

This is a great fairway driver for beginners. It's a pretty slow fairway with the speed of 6 but it flys really straight. This disc is very good for cutting between trees and straight holes. This disc is also great for advanced throwers and it is very easy to throw its stats.

This disc came recommended to me via an online forum as a good all purpose beginner disc. It's not the straightest disc, but it is consistent.
