Very stable new, but beat in to a very straight flyer with reliable fade.

Got a F2 169g in Star plastic. Takes some effort but can get some nice anhyzer BH&FH flex lines out of this disc. The rim depth and width are perfect for me both BH&FH grip. I liked this disc so much I purchased 2 more 1 in Blizzard and 1 in G star.

Everyone knows the popularity of this disc. Like many Innova Discers, this one is my go-to distance driver. My max distances have all been achieved with this mold. Here's the problem: Innova is really inconsistent. You could get a meathook, or you could get a flippy one. There really isn't any way to tell unless you buy one in person (there's a helpful video on choosing your right destroyer on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ATdgZfZpxZQ&t=707s). Buying one of these online is going to be a little sketchy, and that is not Infinite Discs fault, it's Innovas. If you really want a meaty Destroyer, try Champion or Halo if you can. Hope that helps! =)

I call my Star Destroyer my "money disc." I had been out of the game for several years, but just picked it back up about 4 years ago. I realized my old bag was full of understable DX plastic that couldn't hold up in the wind. I read somewhere at that time that the Destroyer was the #1 selling disc in the sport, so I picked up a 168 gram disc. I don't have the most powerful arm, and it did take some time to "beat in," but I feel that I've finally reached the sweet spot with this disc. The Destroyer, for me, is the disc that I can throw the farthest and still stay on the line that I want it to. It's not too flippy that it crashes and burns, but not too overstable either that I can't get the distance that I want.  It's very consistent and flies the same way every time I throw. As a "noodle arm" (and maybe for a beginner), it took me some time to grow into this disc, but I'm glad I stuck with it until it broke in a little bit. It's easily one of the farthest distance discs I can throw.

It has taken me a while to build up my throwing form and power to be able to maximize the flight of the Destroyer. However, when I can get a good rip in the disc there is nothing in my bag that can match its distance (both backhand and forehand). I have the Destroyer in the Star X-Out plastic, which has a great feel to my hand. I really like the extra bit of grip that Star plastic provides.

The glide and touch of turn in the Destroyer really allow for amazing S-shaped shots when you can get the right amount of height on the shot. The overstability of the disc allows it to stand up nicely against a headwind for me.

The trouble I am still working through with this disc is my tendency to want to try and throw this disc too hard (because it is a 12 speed disc which is the fastest I have in my bag), which causes my throws to be completely off line or not on an optimal flight path. When I can remind myself to stay smooth through my throw, is when I can get my best results.

The Destroyer is a great disc, but I would definitely reiterate that you will get the best results from this disc as you continue to improve your throwing mechanics/technique and power.

Late to party on reviewing the Destroyer, but I have been throwing them for years and still love them! I have gotten competitor brands "version" of a Destroyer, and it still remains hard to beat! Love the glide, the speed and the way they break in over time. I bag two color glow Destroyers and an old star. They each fly different because of their respective wear-and-tear. They each absolutely bomb! Love the Destroyer, would recommend to anyone, it will take a lot to get me to throw a different disc!

My destroyer actually got replaced recently by the Lat 64 Gladiator. However, up until then it was a go to OS distance driver for both FH and BH when I needed a strong fade at the end or i was throwing in to a strong headwind.

But destroyers, like most innova plastic, varies incredibly between each disc you might get. Some are super OS others are flippy, if you find one you like don't loose it because chances are you wont find another destroyer with the same flight pattern. Highly inconsistent manufacturing of an otherwise great disc was what lead it to be replaced in my bag. I have tried a few different Gladiators and they all are very similar out of the box unlike the destroyers I have tried.
