Innova Pro Line uses a special blend of plastics that provide unique qualities for each disc model. The different blends of Pro Line plastic produce discs with a wide range of rigidity from extremely soft to firm and stiff.

Pro plastic is more durable than DX, and provides a better grip than Champion Plastic. Discs in pro plastic tend to be slightly more understable than counterparts of the same mold in other premium plastic blends.

This disc is a very nice disc for beginners.  It can carry great distance and isn't too hard to hand.

The pro plastic is extremely comfortable in my opinion. The destroyer is an awesome disc that flies straight and reliably fades hard at the end. The pro plastic is more understable than other plastics out of the box, which is good for beginners/slower arm speeds. This is a bomber disc out of the box for advanced arm speeds. Great forehand discs as well.

I am really not a fan of destroyers due to their controversial and verifiable inconsistency... but pro plastic is, lowkey, the best destroyer. Consistent forehand hyzer meathook, deadly straight long distance backhand flier with reliable finish. Pro plastic is far by the most comfortable to hold for me, too. The huge rim and flimsy pop top just feels weird in star and champ.
I've thrown a few star destroyers and they are just meathooks at anything more than 170g. I can throw other 12+ speed discs much farther than the star destroyers. I'm lucky if I can get one of those to 350, and on an anhyzer flex line. Pro plastic doesn't have this problem for me. Flies like the numbers say it should. Star plastic is just a brick.

I don't bag it unless I'm throwing it over water since it's in Pro Plastic. But when I throw it in practice it's is one of the furthest fliers for me. I don't have the skill or arm to bag it in other plastics yet, but I hope to when I get there. The pro plastic feels a lot like star but just a little firmer.

I've always loved pro destroyers bc you can throw them and they fly like it looks when the pros throw them the pro plastic gives it extra glide and turn which makes it go a lot farther than other plastics in my case

Does the Destroyer need another review? Probably not, but this disc in Pro plastic certainly deserves more love. Pro Destroyers tend to fly slightly less stable but with a boost in glide that us mere mortals who don't throw 500' bombs can enjoy. This isn't the disc to reach for when you placement is key but for those wide open par 4/5's, it's got you covered. Add in the killer "Great Beards" stamp from Infinite, and you've got one great disc. Major downside to any Destroyer is the obvious confusion that comes from Innovas inconsistency over the years.

I know it's said not to get too fast of a disc when you first start playing and that beginners shouldn't really use distance drivers. And the longer I play, I realize that's kind of true. BUT let's be honest, we all want to get fast/longer drivers once you start playing. I feel like this disc in pro plastic can get you some really good distance and is pretty easy to throw for beginners. It stays relatively flat, a bit of turn but then really reliable and predictable fade at the end. Not too much but just the right amount. I love this disc for both forehand and backhand but probably throw it forehand a bit more. I'd highly recommend as a first "faster" disc for those wanting to jump into the distance drivers. Plus they are everywhere, easy to find and easy to get good deals on which is really nice.

The Destroyer is a benchmark (gold standard) OVER-STABLE distance driver. If one is confused by too many options for high speed over-stable distance drivers, he/she can't go wrong with trying out a couple destroyers. It is one of the most popular molds for a reason. But I write this review to specifically give love to the Pro plastic Destroyer. This is the Destroyer that most amateurs should try. It is the one that glides a little more and is a little less stable. For an amateur, it can be the longest bomber.  Plus the Pro plastic beats in a little faster but not too fast.  In a shorter amount of time, one can have a slightly overstable one and one that is a straight flier (with an s-curve). I first collected x-out Pros for water holes b/c they were cheap to replace. It didn't take long, and I started using them as a main distance driver.

Incredible disc! Pro plastic makes the destroyer play much more true to numbers for people who aren't Paul mcbeth. Grip is better than star, and the plastic is actually very cut and chip resistant. After about fifty throws this disc will be a stable 400' bomber in the advanced players hand, and will retain that stability for a surprising period of time. Definitely a must try for any destroyer thrower.

The Destroyer in general is an over-stable disc. However, when you have it in Pro plastic, it is very friendly for almost everyone. Even at Max weight. When the wind kicks up, reach for a Pro Destroyer. A very light Destroyer isn't necessarily the only answer to a far flier for intermediate players. Try it in Pro plastic. I typically throw a Champ DDX for really straight with some fade at the end. But if the wind might push it over, I take out the Pro Destroyer. Pro plastic. It's a secret.

This is a really underrated plastic for the destroyer. I don't feel like anybody needs more reviews on how a destroyer flies because there are tons of them out there, so I want to talk about this plastic line. I throw about 350-375 consistently so a destroyer is currently a little out of my league, but I tried throwing a really beat in destroyer that my friend owned and fell in love with it. Problem was that his disc was 7 or 8 years old and had been passed down form his brother. For several months I tried to beat in a star destroyer and barely made a dent in the stability. Then I stumbled upon a pro destroyer at my local shop and bought it out of curiosity. I now have 3 in my bag. The pro destroyer flies for me like a star destroyer does for the pros but minus 100-150 feet. It gives me the speed and extra distance that the disc is known for, but is so much easier to control. Until i develop enough power to throw star destroyers, this disc won't leave my bag!

This disc has been in my bag for about 6 month in the pro plastic. Mainly because I wanted to beat it in and have it be a flippy disc for me. Its starting to get there but as my game has improved this thing bombs distance. I've been playing for a few years and nothing else has been able too knock down distance better than this. It's not beginner friendly but has you start getting better from and more power this is the disc to go to. I will be picking up a star soon.

The Destroyer is the most iconic distance driver, and for good reason. While there is a great variety in different Destroyers out there, most of them that you find will be just stable enough for a big arm to crank on it for maximum distance without fear of turning it over. This disc sits at a nice neutral-ish stability level that will allow disc golfers from intermediate to advanced skill levels to get good use out of it. For most amateur players it will definitely seem a bit overstable, though not unusable, but it's for the more experienced player that this disc will really shine.

The rim on the Destroyer is also fairly comfortable for a maximum distance driver. I'm sure that I'm not the only one who dislikes the super fat 2.5 cm rims on a lot of ultra-max distance drivers nowadays. The Destroyer's rim is definitely thick, but it's 3mm away from the max thickness, and that little bit of extra room for your fingers will make your hand appreciate this disc. For more normal-sized hands, the Destroyer's rim is about as thick as a disc's rim should be to get a strong power grip that won't slip halfway through the throw.

Most Destroyers out there in the wild nowadays seem to be Pro Destroyers, but if you're ordering one then I recommend the Star Destroyer. A distance driver like this is inevitably going to hit some trees at high velocity, so you want to get premium plastic to make it last as long as possible. The Destroyer just feels right in Star plastic, and you can't tell me that "Star Destroyer" doesn't sound like a name out of some crazy sci-fi novel.

There are plenty of reviews out there for Destroyers, but I want to put my two cents in for the Pro plastic. I started off using a Katana as my high speed distance driver. After a while, my arm speed started improving, and the Katana was just too understable for me to throw consistently. I eventually lost it throwing into a head wind around a blind corner, so I went to the Nature Center at my local state park and picked up a 175g Champ Destroyer.

This was (admittedly) too much disc for me at the time, but being a beginner, that poor disc met many a tree at high speed and started getting a bit less stable, with much more glide. Unfortunately, just as I was getting the arm speed to really throw it, I lost it. I looked for two days, but it was gone. After buying another Champion Destroyer and discovering it was MUCH more overstable than my lost, beat up Destroyer, I started doing some reading and research. Thus I was informed, and found out about how different plastics cool and shrink at different rates, changing stability.

Enter the Pro Destroyer. With an intermediate arm speed, this thing really bombed for me. I've had a few of them now and I try to keep them in rotation. This plastic is so underrated. It has a grip like Star plastic, but it beats in  a little quicker. My oldest Pro Destroyer is incredible. After a particularly disastrous encounter with a road, it became quite flippy at high speed. Put some hyzer on it though and it will stand up and glide for about 14 years before reliably fading as it slows down. Forehand or backhand, I can throw a beat in Pro Destroyer further than any disc I've ever held. I still bag a fairly new Star Destroyer (McBeth run with the Infinite Bomber stamp on it!) for big headwinds or when I need more fade, but my go-to for big distance will be Pro plastic for a long time I think.

If you're looking for a reliable bomber that beats in well, look no further. The Pro Destroyer will be your best friend.

What's left to say about Pro Destroyers? This is a laser beam disc with reliable fade at the end. They glide much further and are less overstable than star or champion. Pro feels like a mix of DX and Star to me. Very, very comfortable, beats in quicker than star and will typically driver further and straighter with the same amount of power. If you love the way you Destroyer feels but its too meaty, pick up one of these. I'm impressed how little power they require, yet how much they can still handle. Isn't that what every disc should strive for?

Absolutely love my Destroyer. The pro-plastic has been able to withstand multiple tree hacks and still flies very true. Been using this disc for nearly 3 months and every time I need a reliable drive for a technical shot I use my Destroyer.

I am a forehand flick thrower and I genuinely love playing my destroyer off the tee.

171g Pro Plastic: This soft plastic wears in quickly, but does not chip or scratch easily.

This is the beginner/intermediate version of the Destroyer.  It flies for us mere mortals the way Philo Brathwaite makes his beat in, old reliable Star Destroyer fly.  It feels and flies like a well seasoned Star Destroyer, and costs less.  I have 300-325' power and can always get 325 out of this disc, especially into the wind, both forehand and backhand.  It very reliably turns at high speed, shifting into glide mode, zips along down the fairway, and just as reliably fades out as it slows down, often picking up a few more feet with a nice skip.  If you just lost your beat in, flippy Star Destroyer and need something to fill its place, go pick one of these up in Pro plastic.

I have always been a huge fan of the Destroyer. Hadn't tried the Pro plastic... My friend had some so I grabbed it and instantly fell in love. I came home that night and ordered me one. It is much easier to throw then the star or champion plastic. The grip is phenomenal. I feel it is like DX plastic in the fact that it is easier to flip over then some of the other plastics. However it is much more grippy of a plastic and lasts much longer. I am a huge fan of this disc as a whole and can allow for any numerous amount of shots or lines.

I strongly recommend picking up a Pro Destroyer as it has quickly become a staple in my bag!

Just would like to add that in Pro plastic this thing flips up and glides for days when given only a moderate snap. In the lightest weights even a somewhat beginner will get this thing out there. The pro plastic does beat up quick but not as fast as Discraft Elite X plastic in my opinion. Give it a try! You will love it!

My first disc I bought, it was from walmart. I bought this just to learn about disc golf. It had a consistant flight. This was also the first disc I lost as it randomly flew somewhere I could not find. However, I had a spare. I'll give it credit for the name, because it destoryed my friends arm 200+ ft away while he was hiding deep in the bushes. It gave him a nice bruise that lasted for about a few weeks to a month. Well done Innova!

One of my friends throws bottom stamped destroyers. To tell you the truth, I have never seen a destroyer that overstable in my life. In contrary to that, he has another bottom stamped star destroyer which he says is really flippy. I never tried his both discs, but the one I saw was mad overstable. I normally throw Pro Destroyers because they glide more than other plastic blends. I have three pro destroyers. I use one for rollers, long turnover shots and tailwind shots; another for a long distance flex shots which turns a good bit (-2 to -3), and the last and brand new one for mainly headwind, and straight to hyzer shots.

I haven't tried star destroyer yet, but read a lot of folks praising it for great forehand shots. I have two pro-destroyers; one is gummy and another is firm. Both destroyer are 168 gm. I use them for backhand and it truly holds the line as shown in the Innova chart. My firm destroyer is a little beat up and gives a me a little more turn, that means an added distance than my gummy pro destroyer. I have tried forehand shots with both discs but it didn't come out right. I may need to have star destroyer for that purpose. I use Star Katana (calm to less windy) and Champion groove (any wind situation) for sidearm. They work perfect to give me 300 to 335 feet distance. Destroyer is definitely a must have disc in your bag.

My old beat-up Pro Destroyer is hands-down my favorite forehand driver in my arsenal. For long, narrow drives, you can flick it low and laser-straight at high speeds and it just holds that line like no other disc I've thrown, with just a slight fade as it touches down. On occasion, I'll even use it at mid-range if I need to turn a corner, because it fades pretty hard at lower speeds and has a monster skip. The destroyer also holds my personal distance record for straight up backhand bombs (at ~400 feet), but I'm not as consistent with it in that regard as I am with more forgiving understable discs. TL;DR - as an intermediate player, this is my favorite and most consistent forehand disc, but I'm not good enough yet to consistently give it the power and control it needs for the long backhand bombs.

My beat-in Pro Destroyer is my favorite driver off the tee. Excellent distance and predictable fade. It's all you can ask for in a driver. The only issue I've seen with Destroyers is that there seems to be a lot of variability between runs. Picking up a Destroyer and hating it doesn't necessarily mean you hate the mold, just as picking one up and loving it doesn't mean you can find another one like it. So, if you get a Destroyer you like, I recommend stocking up. It's an absolutely awesome driver.

A broken in Pro plastic Destroyer is my go to for RHBH hook shots and sharp hyzers. I also rely on it for shorter holes with tight dog legs to the right when throwing forehand. Seems to be very little learning curve with this mold. This disc will keep the line it is released at very nicely. For established players, the speed on this disc can at times catch you off guard. It will hold a line much longer than expected from the amount of force used to throw it.

The Destroyer is my go-to distance driver. I prefer Pro plastic for this disc as it seems to give me just the right ratio of wear. New, the Destroyer is long and straight with a good fade at the end. As time passes, it beats in to a great s-curve hyzer flip disc that goes even longer. Its wing is just about the widest my hands are comfortable with. It is, for me, the perfect hyper-driver
