    Star Glow Details

The Star Glow plastic feels really similar to the Champion Color Glow plastic. It's softer than regular Star plastic but feels just as durable.

I like how the photo here is a vintage 2019 Philo glow. I love that 2019 disc and bag one and have one in reserve. I was bummed last year and this year when the glow was gone for the Philos. Still have to support Philo, however! He is an awesome coach, player, and commentator. This version of the Destroyer seems easier to throw out of the box than the Star versions. I have "disced-down" of late and have thrown slower drivers, but I still prefer this in the open and/or open and windy.

Recently got my hands on a 2020 Philo Destroyer (168) and all I can say is wow!  This thing absolutely bombs!  For the Destroyer fans out there, the Star Glow plastic has the same glide and stability out of the box as Pro plastic with the durability of Star.  This is truly the Goldilocks of Destroyers in that it is just right!  You don't need to have an arm cannon to get big distance out of this destroyer; however, I do think this one would benefit disc golfers of all abilities.  I have a Sockibot Star Destroyer in the same weight and it is way more overstable.  Pairing the two gives me the ability to have a destroyer for all conditions, which is perfect!  Please Innova...bring back the Philo Destroyer in Glow Star this year!  I will buy two if you do!

One man that knows destroyers would be Philo. His signature star color glow destroyers come in slightly lighter weights 165-169. The top on mine is on flat/slight dome. The wing is aggressively concave like most runs of destroyers. (My Ricky raptor is less concave almost flat wing so more understable.) Color glow star plastic is slightly less stiff than regular star. Glows very bright. Amazing version of the destroyer. Thanks Philo!

Love the feel of the star glow plastic! Durable yet grippy and soft. Very reliable and predicable. More understable as it beats in and able to hold big lines.
