This seems like a disc I should be using more, but somehow it always ends up taking a back seat to either a slightly faster or slightly slower disc. More than most of my other discs (except a 12 & 13 speed), I find I need to throw this on anhyzer to get a desirable flight path, otherwise it behaves more overstable than the numbers would suggest: For instance, the Wave has identical numbers except it's listed as an 11-speed; but despite being labeled as a slower disc and having the same glide/turn/fade numbers (5/-2/2), this one pulls into its left-hand fade noticeably sooner than my Waves. I have been impressed with how durable the plastic is, though, and it feels good in the hand and releases cleanly. I'd have thought with the use it has gotten, it would have shown noticeable signs of becoming less stable by now, but not yet.

This was one of my first discs. It is my go to driver for almost every hole i throw on. ir flies to exactly what the numbers say. its very beginner friendly. would recommend to any new players.

A Champion Beast will be in my bag as long as I’m able to play disc golf. I can forehand this disc straight, with reliable and predictable finish.

However, this disc is an INCREDIBLE overhand disc. Whether a traditional “tomahawk” or as a “thumber” this baby will fly on the line you put it with great skip/slide at the end. It can knife through woods or be used to navigate tricky turns. If you have a “baseball arm” this disc needs to be bagged!

Feel: this disc has a great feel to it. the rim is super smooth, a nice width, the top isn't too domey, but it also isn't flat. The speed 10 sized rim feels good for both forehand and backhands. I don't really like forehanding much over speed 11, so this disc fits that bill.

Flight: Contrary everything I've heard about this disc indicates that it is a nice flippy touch disc, that is great for woods, but also goes the distance. But, what I have found with my Beast is that it is actually quite stable. I have a feeling this disc is like the wraith in that the DX version is super flippy, but the other plastics are pretty beefy. This disc flies on the "basic line" as i like to call it. meaning it goes straight for 75% of its flight before fading out for the last 25%. I really like discs that fly on the "basic line" because I can power up on them, and throw them both forehand and backhand. This disc has enough stability for me to really rip it out there, it is my most sneaky distance disc.

Comparison: This disc is similar to a champ wraith, flightwise. Feel wise, the rim is kinda like a roadrunner, with the smooth sim that bulges out, as opposed to in like most drivers.

Been bagging a beast for over 12 years now and this disc is just so easy to throw far that I don't ever see it getting replaced. It's not OS enough to be a headwind driver, but in any other conditions it can perform all the shots you need if you don't have a huge arm.

Love this disc. Looks great and fun to throw. It is one of my farthest most reliable discs in my bag.

The Innova Beast in Champion plastic (171g) is a stable driver that is a great purchase for beginners who have been playing for a while and are ready to step up from their starter sets.  This disc will hold up to a wind well, will turn at the beginning of the flight when you really step into one, and it has a consistent fade at the end.  Also, the tye-dye design is very cool to watch as it flies through the air :)
