I've been throwing for over ten years and never had a Beast. Well, I just ordered one since they were on sale. I'm in my 50's with medium arm speed. It's s great disc for stand still straight to understable shots. I'm really enjoying it for sloppy winter rounds when the footing won't allow for full power.

A beginner friendly disc - especially in the lightweight Blizzard Champion plastic. I don't really throw this anymore since it isn't stable enough and flips on me. It used to be my farthest disc in the bag during my first year of playing, but I've since moved along. Mine is a 140g version and goes far when thrown correctly. If I had to recommend a disc to someone just starting out, I would pick this disc in the exact plastic type and weight. With some proper instruction, it will likely travel far with minimal fade for a newer player.

This was the first Blizzard champ disc I picked up (156g) and along with the Mamba i would say this is one of the most beginner friendly drivers you can throw. It hits the sweet spot with decent speed and turn to be very forgiving to newer players who are just starting out and want to hit that 275+ distance.

While i have started bagging higher speed drivers (kahu's and Destroyers) i keep coming back to this disc as it really never lets me down and just feels impossible to have a bad throw with..

Throwing this disc with a bit of anhyzer and 70% ish power I know this thing is going to do the exact same thing every time.. turn a bit and fade at the end to give me a dead straight flight at around 280.

If you are looking at getting your first speed 10+ driver, grab one of these in Blizzard plastic along with a bit heavier Mamba and watch your distance increase

This was the first distance driver I ever purchased. Love the feel of the Blizzard plastic (140g). Has a clean release and is very predictable. It has also been very durable.

The first disc I ever had was a 175g Champion Beast, super dependable. Ordered this lightweight Blizzard after reading good reviews for extra glide. It has that and then some. Could be a great roller out of the box. Has become more of a specialty disc for certain turnover shots with a little fade.

Have had this disc in several different plastics but my favorite has been my beat in champ dye, flys straight as an arrow with predictable fade.
