A Swirly S-Blend Maya has been in my bag for the past year, but only really became my go-to distance driver this spring. I have always relied on Shyrkes and Wraiths in pro or well-worn star plastic for distance with my slower arm speed, but the Maya is out-performing them both. I'm getting less turn and more glide than the Shyrkes, less fade than the Wraiths, and consistently more distance. Leaning heavily on the Maya, I came home with the #1 tag from league for the first time ever this spring, leaving all the young guns in complete shock.

The maya is a lot more understandable than I originally thought. For the power throwers it's going to be a great roller! This disc for the lower arm sped and beginner throwers well be one of the longest distance disc for them. This disc bombs even put on the right angle. The s-line plastic feels great in the hand. I highly recommend this disc for the lower arm speed players!

I think the have the last two numbers wrong on this disc! It should be 12-5-1-3! I bought a lighter weight (161) disc just so I could throw it hard and get a nice "S"turn but that is not what happens! Pretty much a meat hook and the numbers are totally misleading! Total disappointment for me and a waist of money!

This is a surprisingly large rim drive that is in fact flippy and understable.. I had my doubts but after just now going out and field testing these discs. I have to say they are dead on, with the flight path.  This disc well and is most likely going to my bag today, as I need a new and constant driver that well flip over for me, and I think this is the disc.. I'm looking forward to throwing this even more out on several courses to see what it does..

If you're a relatively new player with slower arm speed (throwing 300-350), this a great bomber disc. It's very consistent, and it is very easy to throw. Don't let the 12 speed scare you away. The strong turn definitely helps a lower arm speed to make this a very usable disc. This is a staple in my distance game...

5 out of 5.  I love this disc.  I read the material that was included in the email from Infinite when it came out and it described a disc that a beginner could throw further.  My first thought was marketing ploy but after discussing the disc with a knowledgeable friend he explained why a beginner might want to throw a disc with a speed rating far above their ability.  My typical go to disc is either a Leopard or an FD.  I can max it out to about 275, 315 if I get a good throw with favorable conditions.  This disc lets me Hyzer-Flip it, (something I had not successfully done before getting this disc) and I have been able to get the disc to flip to flat and sail out to 350.  I have started to throw this disc with 70% power and it gets me that flex line that I cant get out of the other lower speed plastics.  If i had a faster arm, I'd flip it over and get a long turn over shot but since I've got a slower arm and less than desirable form its perfect for me.  I've re-bought the disc 3 times now just to ensure I've got extra for when I lose one in the woods.

Really like this disc. First throw ever with this disc turned over and never came back. This is definitely understable disc and have had to learn to use it better. This isn't my furthest flying disc but it definitely useful. I like infinite discs lineup a lot and this another great disc.

I would highly recommend to any beginners first distance driver or to anyone looking for a really long turnover disc

For perspective, I can throw 350-400 with a control driver.

This is a good driver, I would say it is a little more stable than I had hoped for. However, when throwing this disc I can still throw it 370 fairly consistently. Which is far from what it should be. When I throw it flat, the flight path is fairly straight, there will be a slight bend to the right (RHBH), with a fade to the left. As such, this disc for my strength and power does not fly as it should. Its a little fast for me. I have successfully thrown a hyzer flip though. When doing that, it starts off on a hyzer angle and pops up to fly dead straight then fade out to the left (RHBH).

As such, this isn't a good beginner disc. Its speed and stability would be challenging to handle for a beginner. Being closer to the intermediary player myself, I have trouble throwing this disc to its ideal flight path. But, you can still get some good distance from this disc without throwing it to full power.

I recently bought this disc in the Swirly S blend and it quickly became my distance driver of choice. I can release it on a hyzer angle and count on it to reliably flip up and turn for awhile before fading, for long distances (350-385 for me).

I've recently been testing my forehand with it and have found it to be reliable as a forehand as well and is very comfortable. Overall, I would recommend this disc to anyone with the arm speed and love this driver.

It is buried under stable the rim feels very thin and skinny in your hand I would not suggest it for forehand it is a good backhand turnover or roller disc

Great disc for getting extra glide. My arm speed is not huge but I normally flip over a Mamba, this will stay very straight, which is most likely the plastic type.

I throw at 5,100 ft elevation. Pretty content with this disc. I don't use this for all out distance shots. When thrown flat and hard, it turns over pretty quick and does not come back, so I haven't gotten the true flight out of the disc yet. However, it has been amazing for wooded shots when put on slight anhyzer and thrown at 70-80%. Holds the line nicely and generally lands flat. Overall good disc, I imagine a player looking for their first high speed driver could make this work for them.

Wow. This is my second review for this disc. I've put it back in my bag because I've been resting my arm and not throwing forehand lately. Who needs a FH when you have the Maya. Put it on a slight anhyzer, give it some height, and watch it fly. This disc excels at long turnovers. Actually, that's the only shot I use it for. I really don't throw it flat unless I have a big tailwind.  I get more accuracy and more distance with a turnover Maya than I ever did flicking a long hyzer. I can put the Maya on a turnover and watch it fly about 400ft. My FH with a PD, Zeus, Force, PD2 is right around 350ft.  I think of the Maya now as more of a utility disc and it is perfect for that slot. It now has a place in my bag.

I would highly recommend the Maya to any beginners for their fist distance driver or to anyone looking for a really long turnover disc.

Great disc, It just didn't beat out my Hades though it flies ALMOST identical. Great for long straight hyzer flips. If you need a long driver that turns over and doesn't come back, this is it. If I didn't already own several Hades I would go with the Maya because it's more cost effective and readily available. Definitely a great understable driver. Compliments the Pharaoh well. The rim size is noticeably smaller than the Hades and feels similar to the thrasher. That being said, this is much more understable than the thrasher I have but more predictable and less finicky if that makes sense. Great choice for anyone who doesn't already have that slot filled. *Note: I live at 7000 ft elevation where everything is much more stable.
