The Splatter S-Blend Maya is made from a slightly stiffer plastic than standard S-Blend, often resulting in a touch more stability. It pairs eye-catching swirls with a clean release, making it a great choice for controlled max-distance drives.

I have the Maya is the Splatter S blend and I instantly fell in love with it. Being an 11 speed the rim feels really good in the hand, not to wide and not too skinny. I don't have the biggest of arms so when thrown on a hyzer it flips to flat and slowly drifts to the right and the gently finishes with a little bit of fade. I have been using it a ton during the winter as footing is an issue here in the NE. So with limited run up this disc still gets an amazing flight with really good distance.

I really love this disc.  As the review below says, it does fit great into my hand and the shape is fantastic.  The speed is right in my wheel house for my arm speed at the moment.  Overall, this is my go to understable driver, although I don't throw may understable shots.

I got the splatter s blend and love the feel in my hand. It didn't take long to become one of my go to drivers. Not having a huge arm (320-330) I can rely on this disc to flip with hyzer and get some much needed glide. Love it.

Got this disc a few days ago and just went out to test it today. I love it! It is a very beginner-friendly disc, I brought one of my friends who has only played once before, he was able to throw it with ease! it has instantly found a spot in my bag after just one course. I cannot wait to use this beast of a disc again soon!

I am fleshing out the mechanics of backhand and average around 270-280 with more stable 12 speed discs. This is my longest throwing disc, averaging 300-315 with my best throws. I have this and the Hades. Both throw very similarly, turning over a bit on a flat or slight hyser and then leveling out for a great glide. Both discs do a great job lifting just a bit as they turn over. I also have the Heat (speed 10), which feels a bit more understable and turns too much now that I am starting to get some real spin on the disc. I have several i-blend discs and would be ok having this in i-blend. However, I do prefer the S-blend and think it will stand up to a little more wear and tear. For such an understable disc, I would prefer it not wear in too fast. I could see this disc becoming too understable otherwise.

**Rating this disc as a longtime player who only recently started learning backhand.

I give the Maya 5 stars because of its distance potential, for weaker backhand players. I would highly recommend this disc for newer backhand players who want a faster disc and also feel like they can throw the speed.

I would also recommend this disc for very experienced players, as the disc feels like most 12 speed discs. Also, depending on the dome (my gummy c blend is flat, s blend is the loudest pop top I have), the flight characteristics can only be found with flight numbers like this, which are pretty accurate (my gummy c blend is flat and the slightly added stability allows for hyzer flip forehand shots). It takes some finesse and patience to figure this disc out, but is worth the effort.

Overall, I would strongly recommend trying this disc. It could get your first 350' drive, or for others, it could be the easiest 450'+ disc in your bag.
