Favorite understable distance driver. This thing feels absolutely amazing in the hand in I-blend; one of the flattest distance drivers I've ever held. Once you figure out your release angles, it's very controllable and reliable, just not in any kind of headwind. Smooth distance that you don't have to dislocate your elbow trying to unlock. Beginners can probably get a bit extra distance if they're trying to step into faster discs, as long as they can keep it slightly hyzer or flat at release, depending on arm speed.

I saw Emmanuele Lizama shred our local course with this disc and I had to get one! It's a go to distance driver in the woods and I can see the potential for big distance in the open.

I recently started working on my roller game and the Maya fell perfectly into that spot! I bought a 162g i-blend and it only takes about 25-40 degrees of anhyzer to get this thing down and rolling over 400ft. If you are like me and are starting to implement rollers into your game, a lightweight Maya is the way to go. The only complaint I have is that once my disc gets vertical it pops over very quickly, so you need a lot of cut to get this disc to go far; however, if you nail the angle then the Maya is a great roller!
