My favorite understable distance driver. I feel like it does fly true to the given flight numbers. On slight hyzer, I can get this disc to go 330', at least 20' further than all the other discs I throw. For me, it does have a bit of stability to come back on a full-power throw.

Man, found this disc in a used bin and thought I'd give it a shot.  The first high speed (10-12) that my beginner-intermediate arm could get to hyzer flip.  Also, found I can use it as an effective roller disc by putting it on a bit of anhyzer with my forehand.  Difinetly need to pick up another one.

I picked up a Maya from the used bin at my local shop. I found that thrown flat, it drifts right for about half the flight before stabling out and finishing with a gentle fade. Thrown with a slight hyzer, it flips up and flies straight for most of the flight. I have since added 163g Maya to the bag. I use it primarily as my go-to distance driver for low-wind or tailwind throws. Throw into a tailwind, it turns over without coming back. For someone with more arm speed, I expect this would be a strong turnover or roller disc.

Amazing disc, would highly recommend for beginners. Consistent flight path that immediately added 50 feet to my throws. My go-to driver.

I bag 175g I-Blend and play above 5000' elevation in Wyoming

This disc is new to my bag and I've only thrown it for a few rounds.

Plastic: As per Infinites description, I-blend feels like Innova Star plastic but slightly softer with a touch more grip.  It is not tacky and mine arrived without excessive flashing and felt good to throw right out of the box.

Feel: It is quite flat with a shallow feel in the hand.  For the amount of glide it has I would have expected it to have a little more dome but was pleasantly surprised by how flat it is.  It feels comfortable both forehand and backhand.

Flight:  Out of the box mine flies like a perfectly seasoned wraith for my arm speed.  I can get it to flip up to flat/soft turn over depending on the amount of hyzer released with, mine always fights back out at the last seconds of flight.  If I manage a decent anhyzer release, I can get it to hold an easy turn over and finish to the right (RHBH).  I am fairly new still so I have issues controlling my nose angles when going for anhyzer release, if you do not get the nose down, the disc will fight out of the turn and have a soft finish, it's fairly forgiving without a harsh fade.

Overall I am really enjoying the maya.  I would not recommend for brand new players since an 11 speed still takes a fair amount of arm speed, but this is great for players wanting to move up into an easier throwing distance driver.  I would say it flies more like an 11 speed, so not crazy fast but the amount of glide on this disc and the under stability make this easy to get a little more distance without a punishing fade if you have nose up issues like I do.  I will update as the disc beats in.

This is the most understable disc I own. It's perfect for huge flex shots or just turnover shots. I can put it on a steep hyzer and stand it up to push right and fight out for technical wooded lines. For a new thrower looking for a driver but having trouble throwing flat, this is a good disc to get a feel since it won't hyzer out crazy hard like most starting drivers. My first throw with this disc went 20 feet further than I'd ever thrown before, so if you're looking for huge distance as a beginner, order this disc today. You won't be disappointed. It also takes dye really well if you're a disc dyer.

One of my buddies throws a Maya, and I was looking to replace a lost Star Tern in the understable distance driver slot in my bag.  I got an I-Blend at 171g, it's slightly domier than the Tern it's replaced.  This disc is ever so slightly more stable than the Tern, but I think it'll beat into a flippier version of it.  Easy to throw, but you have to keep the nose down if you want it to fly far.  It will go far, and has a little more fade than the numbers would indicate.

This disc has the rim width of an 11 speed and flies as such. I use this disc for long hyzer flip tunnel shots, wide open hyzer flip max distance shots, and high turnover shots. It is my max distance driver when thrown in an open field, yet still is very far in tight fairways. It will flip up and hold a gentle turnover glide then fade to flat, or flip up to flat holding a straight glide then barely fades out. What I love about this disc is most understable drivers tend to be domey, yet my Maya's are relatively flat and feel great in the hand.

I found the Maya to be fairly beginner friendly. It holds lines well into the wind and is fairly under stable. Given enough torque with your throw you can get it to hyzer flip and if you give it enough you can probably roll this disc on a backhand roller throw pretty easily. All around solid disc.

I am by no means a long-armed player.  The first time I tried this disc, my jaw dropped.  I was able to forehand (with a pretty noticeable hyzer release) and get this baby to go left and fight back to the middle.  Since then, I have realized that the Maya is very sensitive to your angle of release, but if you can hone in on that sweet spot... she will fly for you. I am eager to see if she beats in to the point she will not fight back, but I can always switch to a new one if need be.  I think this disc is comparable to a Tern in the hand, with perhaps a little more undesirability.  I think a MF Glow C-blend would be a lot more stable and less likely to turn and burn out of the hand.

Great addition to my bag. It's a companion to the Pharaoh both fly well for me, this has a little more turn. This is one of the longest flying discs in my bag. I-Blend plastic feel great - durable but grippy enough. Might have to adjust your line slightly, the flight chart this accurate for me. It doesn't quite come back to the center line for me.

For reference, I'm pretty much a newbie. I use all arm, I'm told. On a good, windless day, I I throw 300 ft. The Maya quickly became my go-to driver, and is the only 12 speed disc I can throw (that doesn't fade too soon). Tossed it down hill over 400 feet AND parked it the other day. Mmmm, I just might get my third ace with this beauty. Fingers crossed. Oh, and BTW, the Infinite I-blend plastic is fantastic for the price.

I wanted to love this disc based on how good the Sphinx is, I thought this would be able to handle a little more power without turning over and not coming back based on the numbers but this is far more understable than the Sphinx in I-blend, at least for me. The Maya's I received have speed 11 on them instead of 12 as they are listed on the site and now that I've looked at them a little, I'm pretty sure these are Innova Mamba's or a very close variation of them. Looking at them side by side I don't see any physical differences at all and with that it may kind of explain the understability with a Mamba being an 11/6/-5/1. Throwing this and a GStar Mamba the same, the Maya turns over and doesn't come or turns into a roller much easier than my Mamba that is fairly beat in. If you're looking for something that you can throw on S curves, I would skip the Maya and grab a Pharoah, I think they're closer to the 12/5/-3/1 flight than the Maya is, I would give the Maya a 10/5/-5/1 based on my experience with it.

    161g I Blend

Feel: Thin profile and flat, wide but not too wide comfortable rim. Imagine a flatter more comfortable wraith or tern. I blend is a less rubbery feeling Star plastic. Just a little more firm but still grippy and quite durable.

    Distance: 350-400'

Flight: About as understable as I can handle without being a roller. Any anhyzer with power will turn it into a roller. Forehand is fantastic when you pull it off but a little finicky and a severe hyzer is needed. On forehand it's possible to flip up to flat and even turn a bit before coming back, very unique and useful flight for forehand. Backhand for my distance is the easiest hyzer flip distance driver I have ever thrown. Not much power is needed and with smooth form this disc just sails and sails.

A great distance driver for anyone with a little slower arm speed. The first time I threw the Maya it went almost 100 feet farther than my average throw! Give it a try, it may become your go-to 12 speed driver.

I love my Maya for any tailwind. It will go dead straight. I'll also pull it out when I need something to go out to the right. It held the record for my max distance for a while until that title was taken by my Pharaoh. I would recommend the Maya for new players looking to get a little extra distance from their drives.

I blend Maya, All I can say is " yes, please, and thank you" This disc is my new favorite disc. Understable, yet Bombs. It feels awesome in the hand and for me I struggle with my RHBH drives and getting distance and shot shaping. I can say that hyzer flips slight turnover shots and long anhyzer flex backhand distance shots are an absolute BLAST to do with this disc. I currently bag 2 of them, one 174 weight and one 164  weight. The 174 is starting to beat in really nice. The 164 flight is identical right out the package. We all know that confidence is key in this sport, and don't throw understable on windy days.........That said I've thrown these in a head wind because Im so confident in them and they preform every time all the time. If you want to have a high speed driver to really help improve your game and add a few key and crucial shots to your bag, GET THIS DISC, its awesome.

I picked up this disc originally because of its insane amount of fade. I love this disc for wide open field shots. Holes that typically have larger more forgiving fairways but are longer usual. The speed is about the max speed I can throw and get the full flight out of it. That is part of what makes this disc so crucial to my long hole game. The fade and turn give the disc so much time in the air! Adds much more distance to my drives. I'd recommend it to beginners who have good arm speed. At first it may not be the most accurate but it will give yoy added distance! Great disc!

Love this disc, by far infinite s best mold ever for a driver/fairway disc.. this is under stable just enough that it well work the tight fairways and still have time to fade back out at the end..

Amazing disc.. the rim is just the perfect width and feels great on any release.. if you are looking for a work horse disc for your bag this is it..

I have used this disc now for a couple of weeks. The review does not show me throwing the disc as well as I can now. It is a decent disc for those that can power it. For me, if I do not release it on an anhyzer, I cannot get it past maybe 325 feet. I bought max weight one (175 grams listed weight), and it is similar to the new Discraft Hades. It is a good compliment to a Zeus, Destroyer, or Emperor. It is understable, but for most beginners and intermediates, it will crash hard to the left. I had that problem early on when I was throwing it. Now, I can get it to go pretty far. It will still be tough for a little longer for me, but eventually, it will be the understable distance driver of choice for me.

I would call this disc still Somewhat Beginner Friendly, because its a faster speed distance driver (typically like to start out newer players with something more like a Sphinx) however the -3 turn does still help slower arm speeds get decent distance out of the disc.

I actually have the I Blend as well as 2 Swirly S-Blends.  Brand new I feel both are very similar. Like with all molds, I expect in time the I Blend will beat in or become less stable then the S Blend.

This disc quickly became a favorite.  I had been struggling to keep my Run 3 Pharoah's flipped over the entire time, but the Maya is so easy to throw and holds a perfect Anny line.

Within a  day this disc became my furthest flying disc is a great addition for most skill levels.  For slower avg arms like mine, the Maya will become a bomber disc, perfect for turnovers and tail winds.

For bigger arms, it again is perfect for tailwinds, but also could be a decent roller disc for many.  I feel the flight #'s are pretty accurate. 12,6,-3,1.

In the I-Blend this is a very flippy, max-distance driver. I could see people really enjoying this disc for rollers as well. When I throw it max power, it goes right and doesn't come back (RHBH). It's pretty fun for throwing high anny shots!

I'm looking forward to trying some other plastic types in the future because this thing is a bomber!

I got a pre-release of this disc and I've put it in the hands of 4 different disc golfers. For lower arm speed players, this is an ideal driver. My uncle who is an MA50 competitor described this disc as a longer Dynamic Discs Maverick. It has become his primary distance driver. If thrown flat, it will exhibit some turn and then have a gentle fade back at the end. If thrown on hyzer, it will pop up to flat, fly very straight, and then have a very gentle finish. For higher arm speed players, you can get reliable turn out of this disc, although I think it's primary purpose is for lower arm speed players as a primary distance driver. The profile reminds me of an innova tern with just a little bit smaller rim (at least that's my perception). The s-blend is more stable.

For slower arm speeds the Maya goes soo far! It doesn't have the thickest rim for a driver, but this disc is really fast, and easy to get some high speed turn out of on hyzer flip throws. With a nice smooth gentle throw this disc is easy to get controlled distance with, perfect for when you need to hit a gap and have the disc turn off to the right (with right hand back hand throws). I love using this disc when I still want good distance, but hitting the right gap is more important than a little bit more distance that I would be able to get by throwing a Pharaoh or Emperor at full power.

My 14 year old son can get 50 feet of more distance with the Maya than he can with any other disc. 200 feet used to be a good throw for him, with the Maya he's now looking at potential birdie putts on  on the 300 foot holes.

While the Maya is great for calm days and tail winds, this is NOT a disc you ever want to try throwing into a headwind. It is also a disc that is just too understable for power players and professionals, or us regular guys when we have an extra 20mp speed from the wind coming at us.

If you struggle to get 300 feet of distance out of your driver, try the Maya. Now when you drive, the casual disc golfers around you will say, "wow, that guy must be pro, he throws sooo far."

Disclaimer: I throw frisbees at 7,000 feet (everything is more overstable).

This disc goes far, in the right conditions. For reference, I threw it against my 2 distance drivers: Discraft Thrasher (172 Z line) and Discmania DDx (175 S line).

    First throw. 15 MPH L-R tailwind--460 ft.

    Long.

Next throw, flip winds--now a full-on 15 MPH headwind. No chance.  Both the Thrasher and DDx were had more low speed fade.

Next throw, same wind. Throw on an extreme hyzer. Flip up, go right, no chance.

If I were to put this disc in my bag, it would have to be in C metal flake blend (please?).

The Maya is already one of my favorite infinite molds to date. I got a max weight I-Blend and it's absolutely money. The Maya is easily the longest disc in my bag. Very fast, and probably susceptible to wind, but in calm conditions/tail wind it BOMBS. Put it on a slight hyzer and it will flip up and do a full S-curve for maximum distance. If you've got decent arm speed but struggle keeping up with the big throwers, this is the disc for you!

I believe this disc can be used by all skill levels, higher arm speeds will be able to shape shots or use as a roller while lower arm speeds can rely on its turn to hold with a smooth finish late in the flight. This disc will replace my Run 3 Pharaoh for 330+ turn over shots at altitude or stronger tail wind shots and will be a roller.

If you don't have one of these, your not eliminating strokes from your score!

12/6/-3/1 would be my input on flight ratings.
