Have loved the Maya in both I and G blends, and recently picked up a Lykke Lorentzen Halo S-Blend Maya. This is definitely a more stable Maya, but it absolutely still flips and glides like an I or G blend Maya. This one doesn't have as much turn, but I really like the option of having a more stable Maya. Thrown flat, it turned for about 60% of the flight, but had a very reliable fade. While other Mayas can sometimes turn too much for me, this one will be a very reliable yet understable distance driver that I have been searching for. It also flipped up nicely when thrown on some hyzer.

Forehand, this disc gives effortless distance and does have a decent amount of torque resistance surprisingly. I would highly recommend this disc as a beginner forehand disc for max distance. I am a forehand dominant player, so this was easy distance for me that I will absolutely use in get-out-of-jail situations. Love this disc!

Let me just start off by saying that this review is for the halo maya. I've never tried the Maya in any other plastics, but the general consensus is that it's noticeably more stable in the halo plastic. Despite this, it's really quite easy to turn over and get a nice turn with it burning over completely. This is the perfect disc for lower arm speed players and as a substitute for a forehand when thrown on turnover lines. It's worth to note that this disc is very shallow and therefore might not be comfortable for everyone. It was very noticeable for me at first, but it ended up being extremely easy to throw, as well as very consistent on every release. Definitive recommendation, but especially for people wanting to move up to higher speeds and gradually improve their overall game.
