I purchased the C-Blend Maya after a painful search for an understable disc I could throw hard and keep from completely burning over. I often find myself playing in a lot of wind and I've really needed something to throw far into a right-to-left gust.

The plastic feels solid. It feels like Champion, so I wasn't surprised. However, many champion discs I've thrown tend to run pretty overstable compared to other plastics and I was worried it wouldn't do what I wanted right away. I started throwing it and found it really does what it's supposed to. I have the 173g red stamp and it flies exactly as I'd expect--and boy does it like to stay in the air.

This disc immediately went into the bag to compliment my Czar. I tend to throw accurately to about 325 and this disc did that easily. Very comparable to a Tern. I wanted a disc I could throw hard and watch slow fade--this is that disc.

I have been looking for a replacment in my bag for the lucid renegade since it's a retired mold.

The Maya is the closest thing I have found to a lucid renegade, and I love this disc!  The glide is amazing and the understability of the disc allows me to throw effortless turnover drives!  I never thought I would find a suitable replacement for my renegade, but I'm glad I gave the Maya a chance and now it will never leave my bag!

Love this disc. I'm primarily flick player but will backhand when needed with my noodle arm. I looked and looked and looked for the longer leopard that goes dead straight and this is it. Can pump 350 on a laser beam. Can't find any other disc like it

--Reviewing in the C blend plastic- I first tried this disc out in the I blend plastic and liked it for understable max distance, but found it to be too flippy when the wind was blowing at all. I heard that the C blend plastic is more stable, decided to try that out, and boy am I glad that I did. To me it is nearly perfect for a max distance disc that you can manipulate easily, but can still hold up in some wind. This disc won't hold up in strong headwinds, but otherwise it is excellent

I actually found the Maya that I have (no name/number) pretty late in the season, and it had a 1" slice cut into the rim and quite a bit of scuffing (I'm guessing it was a lost disc, and a mower tagged it when cutting down high grasses before winter). While my attempt to glue it cleanly hasn't gone very well, I have used it in my bag nonetheless and have been quite pleased with it's performance. Even being so banged up, it still flies pretty much the way the flight numbers indicate and other reviewers describe it. I throw it on hyzer and get good long drives with it -- and remarkably consistent flight: very impressive having such notable damage (maybe it would have been a different story had this happened to an overstable disc). I might have to get a new one at some point to see what its full potential is; and if so I think I'll definitely go with this same plastic: It has more than proven its ability to take a beating!

Let me start off by saying this disc is a gem!!  I don't have pro distance but I can normally get this disc 350' or further.  For my lack of proper form and mechanics the Maya just seems to compensate for my errors and bombs with a small s-curve but ultimately lands pretty straight at the end of it's flight!  I don't use this disc for forehand so I can't speak on that and I do tend to hyzer flip a lot of my back hand throws so take this review with a grain of salt!  Easy distance for me!

I mostly use this disc for long hyzer flips.  I throw pretty hard for a women and mine's a 170g and I love it.  It is a good beginner disc and I've always found a use for it in my bag.
