As soon as I threw my first Maya I realized that it looks, feels and flies just like a Mamba. The difference is that the Infinite plastics feel better than Innova plastics. I have a 156g I-Blend and a 162g Gummy-C and they both feel great with very good grip, especially the Gummy-C. If you throw under 300 feet like me, then you will really like the Maya for it's easy distance. The 156g I-Blend is very understable for me and requires a good Hyzer flip-up to get a proper flight. The 162g Gummy-C is more practical giving me a comfortable flex shot with a flat release. The Maya does require some open space to allow for its big flexy flight. It's not the disc to use for narrow fairways. I would say the flight numbers are pretty accurate, with less under-stability in the gummy-C.

The Maya has a pretty low profile so it's pretty nice for side arm as long as you're not a power thrower. I gave my Maya an easy flick and it just took off and kept going way past where I had intended. I measure the rim at pretty close to 2.0 cm which is a very comfortable width for most people. The Gummy-C disc is a nice bright orange so it's easy to find and the foil stamp is pretty awesome! I can definitely recommend the Maya for less powerful throwers looking for more distance. Usually the Maya is available in a wide range of weights including much lighter ones, but at the time of this review they seem to be only available in weights above 170g. If you throw under 300 feet I would wait until some lighter weights become available, otherwise you won't get the full flight benefits.

The Maya is an excellent option for a beginner's first distance driver (after some time learning proper form of course) or for an advanced player's turnover and hyzer-flip driver. It turns fairly easily but can burn over if not given the proper power/angle ratio. It's fun to work crazy lines with this disc and it's also a nice roller!

This is a great disc for players of all skill levels. Its great for beginners as a straight beginning driver. Its great for more advanced players as a roller disc or big turn over disc. This disc should be in everyone's bag.

Great disc for intermediate players. Very straight flying disc when powered down. The turn and slight fade keep it in the fairway on tight wooded holes. On open holes it's one of my farthest flying discs. I can get it to flip hyzer up to flat then finish with a slight turn and gentle fade at the end. Very versatile disc. The disc is pretty flat, the rim isn't wide or bulky, and the plastic is easy to grip and durable. Works great forehand or backhand, highly recommend.

This gummy clear C-blend is super soft. Perfect for cold weather and really durable as well. I compared the mold to an old TD2 I have. Very similar: A little faster, of course. Low profile dome, slightly hawk billed wing. Similar flight, just more finish. It is a nice, easy driver for when the wind is down. You don't need 12 speed power to utilize this disc.  And, that stamp! Beautiful!

Bought this in gummy, then I-blend, then 2 more I-blend. These feel great in the hand, not too domey but with really good glide. Reminds me of a slightly slower Shryke, and more forgiving for lower arm speeds.

Love love love this disc. I'm still very new to the sport and this is a great disc. I'm still working on my form but this disc goes really far for me. This is great for some really long par 4 where you can't throw as far as some others that have been playing for awhile. The numbers for turn and fade are spot on. Would highly recommend. This is my go to driver.

Definitely more overstable in the gummy c-blend. For me, this flies now similar to my old s-blend pharoah. Pretty straight, but with a good amount of turn. Really love the feel of the gummy c-blend though. It's not so gummy that you're going to fold it in half, but gummy enough to give a c-blend some grip.
