I found a new Titanium Comet on course with no ink and played a few rounds with it.  It is an old school mid and slower than most modern models.  Thrown like a mid I found it to start drifting right immediately out of hand (RHBH) but it does not turn and burn creating an unexpected roller.  Fade is minimal and the disc will finish right.  Powered down it was very straight.  On hyzer release with more speed than the disc wants it flipped up in a controlled manner rather than instantly or suddenly before turning all the way to the ground.  With a maximum hyzer I get a reverse S-turn out of it... moving left before flipping up and going far right (RHBH).  Quite amusing and possibly useful in the woods.   A very shapable disc I think, though not a long disc.  The top was not flat, but was not domey either.  The rim shape felt good with a tiny bead and concave wing.  I found it to feel very similar to the overstable DGA Quake mid and I think it is a perfect understable compliment to that disc.  With those two in premium plastics you'd have all your mid needs covered without having to cycle the same mold in lesser plastics.  There are many other popular understable mids that are faster and many of them are flippier too - trading shot shaping finesse for more distance.  The Comet I think though is better balanced than most.

I got this disc for straight shots and it worked miracles for me. The only reason I'm giving it a 4-star is because I can do all of this and more with the Buzzz. I loved using this disc for ace runs on those straight open holes when the basket is just staring at me. I keep this in my practice bag for field work to help my form and find flaws as well as just because it is fun to throw and watch it glide straight for 250+ feet. I would highly recommend this to any beginner because it is so easy to throw and also good for fine tuning technique so you can work up to the bigger discs.

Very easy to throw and goes a long way.  Keeps it's line well with a little fade at the end.  This disc has saved a few pars for me by getting me right up next to the basket.

Like watching disc golf in slow motion. The most workable US mid in the game. It's one of the most useful discs I've owned throwing mostly wooded courses. When I need a longer line that my putter can't hold, I use this. While the Meteor just wasn't cutting it for me, I picked one of these up and found what I was looking for. Personally think the ratings of this and the meteor should be flipped based on flight, I'm glad I found it. I throw mostly prodigy but this is one I keep in my bag for utility shots. I don't have a forehand outside of upshots so this comes into handy. It will be frustrating for some, as it will turnover, and keep turning; this is good! It has showed me where my minor flaws are in my throw. Using this disc gets me out of bad habits and into good mechanics. I'd love to try in Z (I feel is the most beefy plastic) to stable it up a bit. Bigger arms go Z. Newer players go ESP, or Titanium.

After hearing about and reading so many rave reviews for this disc, I decided to pick one up in the Titanium plastic. After throwing it on every hole at my local course, I have found this disc can do just about everything I need it to. I can get this disc to hyzerflip up and ride straight with enough angle or I can put a slight hyzer on the disc and have it slowly turn out to the right. If I throw it flat, it turns pretty hard, but more of a sweeping turn; as opposed to just going into the ground. About the only way I can get fade out of this disc is to power down on it quite a bit, and hyzerflip it.

Easily one of the most flexible discs in my bag, and I believe it is a great disc for any newcomer to pick up to help them learn different throws as well as work on their form.
