So I learned of the Comet watching Central Coast and Jomez. Watching Fish and Johansen kill it with this disc! It definitely got me intrigued.
Then Infinite sent me the T-Rex full foil Comet in a moment of serendipitous synchronicity.
I had to throw one now that I'm holding one in my hand, but it's way too pretty to throw.
    So, what do I do?
I jump right on Infinite's website and pic out the most beautiful max weight ESP Glo Michael Johansen signature model Comet and order it straight away.
Today was my first day to test her out.
The first drive with it on a 240 ft. turned a little into the brush pin high.
Second drive similar distance, now familiar with the feel ace run and hit the basket!
Third drive tight tunnel shot 239 ft. hyzer flip shot, the Comet just goes lazer straight and hits the chains dead center for an ACE!
My girlfriend freaks out! I freak out! First legit Ace of the year. (Had a 329ft. Black Ace earlier this year, w/Plasma Wave)
I now have a new favorite disc!
This disc will hyzer flip straight as an arrow, flip over and pan all the way right, or will pan and fade on shaping up shots. It has just enough stability to come back if you want it too.
That's the thing with this disc, it seems to do exactly what you want it to do, with ease.
    BUY IT!

    (2018 Michael Johansen signature edition)

I'm no longer agonizing over what to throw for those weird lines in the woods.  The answer is the Comet.  It's always the Comet.  Once you learn how this disc flies, you can shape it into just about any line you want.

I'd say this disk is just a touch less understable than my Fuse.  I wouldn't use it for big sky turnover shots, and I can't really depend on it to stay right all the way to the ground. However, that little added touch of stability means you CAN trust it to come back to flat if you give it a bit of anny out of your hand.

And it glides for DAYS.  The Comet is probably my most-used disc for anything except tee shots now.
