    The Discmania line-up gets a much-anticipated addition in the form of a beefy fairway driver. The newcomer is called the FD3 and it is targeted to everyone who can appreciate an overstable driver that's trustworthy in all conditions. The FD3 features a flat profile and a very comfortable rim.

    Despite being very close to the Power Driver (PD) in terms of flight ratings, the FD3 offers a noticeably more overstable flight pattern. This disc can be used for everything from touch sidearms that get you out of trouble to full power drives off the tee. You can rely on the FD3's long but powerful and forward-penetrating fade.

    Metal Flake Champion is the same durability and make up as Discmania C-Line Plastic, but Metal Flake has sparkle flakes inside the plastic.

    The ratings are perfect for this at 9/4/0/3. It's a less beefy Firebird. It can still handle any headwind. And is GREAT for Forehand. But it's not "beefy". With the right power, it's actually pretty straight and then a reliable fade at the end. It's my best forehand disc. Clean out of the hand for a low, straight, no wobble line. It will be in my bag forever basically. If a Raptor or Firebird seems a little too Overstable for you, try one of these.

    Switched to these frimy my raptors and will never go back. These are more reliably overstable and seem to glide a bit more as well. The plastic is grippy without being gummy but is not the overly stiff Z that my raptors were. I compliment them with old Innova molded color glow FD3s and they make for a fantastic 1-2 punch.

    Firebird, raptor, felon. This is exactly what was accomplished with the FD3. The flat rims are the best in my opinion!
