The Discmania line-up gets a much-anticipated addition in the form of a beefy fairway driver. The newcomer is called the FD3 and it is targeted to everyone who can appreciate an overstable driver that's trustworthy in all conditions. The FD3 features a flat profile and a very comfortable rim.

Despite being very close to the Power Driver (PD) in terms of flight ratings, the FD3 offers a noticeably more overstable flight pattern. This disc can be used for everything from touch sidearms that get you out of trouble to full power drives off the tee. You can rely on the FD3's long but powerful and forward-penetrating fade.

The FD3 is an amazing disc. Very similar to the Innova Firebird, it covers many of the same shots, yet it is not quite as stable in most runs and definitely has more glide/distance to it. This disc can find a use in an intermediate player's bag for certain, and pros lean on this disc heavily to fight the wind. It's got a very comfortable rim for both forehand and backhand, and a very consistent and reliable flight regardless of angle and speed of release. The FD3 is a workhorse, and if you can cycle a few of them into your bag at different stages of wear you'd quickly see the rewards pay off and the strokes fall.

This is a very OS fairway driver on which you can depend on to always preform the same way no matter the conditions. It can handle anything you give it and still give you the same dependable flight in return. I really like this disc, however, it is not a beginners disc. If you have been paying for a while and you want something really OS that can handle both FH and BH with as much power as you can give it, this is the disc for you. It will give you that really OS fade at the end with out being so OS that you can't get any good distance out of it. Really this is quite the disc for intermediate to advanced players.
