My Flight Ratings: 12/6/-2/2 Terrible for Beginners Throwing Distance: 300 Straight Score: Very Overstable

I managed to find one of these on a course unmarked over the summer in Halo Star at about 173g. I learned over time why this very pretty disc was just left in a clear open field. It is far from beginner friendly. There was a good bit of over-stability to it too and I swear everytime I would attempt to throw this disc my girlfriend would hear me utter the words "I hate this effing thing." Unpredictable and I found the grip on this to be a bit too uncomfortable for me. This one is going on the wall and maybe one day I'll revisit it.

The Halo Tern has turned into one of my favorite discs in my bag. It is a touchy driver that requires a lot of throws to master. Plastic feels amazing and I would recommend to anyone who is looking to add some distance to their drive.

The Halo Tern may be the ultimate distance driver for Intermediate/Advanced level players just under the 400' max distance. I throw about 370' for max distance and the Halo Tern is a very glidely and reliable overstable distance driver. It's truly about the best distance driver you can get for that power level. Star Plastic makes the Tern quite a bit flippier, and champion doesn't have the same level of glide as the Halo Terns have. I can't recommend this disc highly enough. Grab a Halo Tern.

I found the tern to be a great intro to the distance driver and all intermediates that are looking to start going for big distance should get a tern. It might start out on the overstable side for slower arm speeds. But once you can get the tern to flip up and hold straight it will fly far for you. I know a lot of people would not recommend throwing a 12 speed when you are an intermediate but I feel like the tern is a great helper for people who can not throw as far. I am by no means a big thrower and I can get a full S-flight out of the tern from a slight hyzer. Easily one of the farthest flying discs I have thrown and once you really learn how to rip on it you will love this disc. The bigger arm players can find a nasty hyzerflip dead straight distance driver that can even be utilized for some crazy big anhyzers or even a roller. The Tern may be a distance driver but it is one of the more versatile distance drivers I have thrown when you are not a huge distance guy.

Long Bomber for those who don't have the arm for Destroyer. Excellent glide and predictable stability. The halo plastic is the best feeling plastic I've ever had in a disc - very grippy without being too stiff. Halo should also just be a tick more stable than the regular star plastic, as the trends contend (though I don't have a star Tern to say for sure).
