The Rhyno is a popular slow-flying overstable putter with very little glide. This disc features a Thumbtac groove that helps provide excellent grip and controlled shots. The overstable nature of this disc makes it good for headwinds and short drives where you don’t want to overshoot the basket.

I find that a lot of the premium plastic rhynos are super domey. I was able to trade a couple with a buddy for some that are super flat, and I love them. I putted with the r-pro rhyno for a long time, but that's now become one of my favorite approach discs. I bag one in champion when I need some extra ground play to scoot up to the basket. Great disc. In r-pro this disc is an amazing approach disc, it beats in quickly and becomes a straight lazer beam, or will hold the line you throw it on. Great for everything 200 and in.

One of the most versatile approach discs of all time, the small diameter and low profile of a flat rhyno make it super useful for both forehand and backhand. They start stable in dx and r-pro and beat into beautiful slow hyzer flip discs. The lack of gilde allows for touch around the green, and I love the feel of the thumbtack. Champion and Halo Rhynos have much more integrity and are overstable, this can be useful in the wind or for short hyzer/flex shot applications.

I find this disc beats in to be a great point-and-shoot grippy putter for approaches and putter shots.  I've been enjoying using this guy for tight lines and mild turnover putter shots.

Pro Rhyno is the way to go for an overstable putt and approach disc. It doesn't have the distance potential and versatility of a Harp or a Tactic but if you are looking for an overstable beaded putter with low glide this should be on your list. Best in r-pro plastic.

This putter does everything you would ever need a putter to do. It grabs the chains so well especially in the R-Pro plastic. The material is so tacky it feels good gripping it in the hand and once it makes contact with those chains it has no choice but to grab on and hardly ever spit out at all. Although it is not my go to for a trusty putter only because it isn't my favorite in the hand, it still is a very good and trusted putter but can very well be used for approach as well. It has a pretty flat profile to it with a top lip to it as well which is very unique. You're either going to love it or hate it. Just depends what you're into. I'd definitely say give it a try and then decide if its going in your bag or not.

I love the disc, you get a disc that is like a cross between a berg and a zone it's slow not quite as slow as a berg but close and the overstability of something like a zone I don't know quite how it does it's magic but it lands within 10 feet of the basket every time.

I have been using the R-Pro version of the Rhyno for over a year and I have fallen in love with it.  I find that it is easily controlled and flies nicely out of my hand in most all conditions.  The R-Pro plastic is pliable and therefore absorbs the impact of the ground and allows the disc to settle quickly.  It is my go to approach putter when I am inside of 100'.  Beyond that and I personally need a bit more glide in most cases.

I struggle with putting and I may begin using the Rhyno as a putting putter as it seems to feel more comfortable then most any other putter I have used.  I highly recommend this disc for anyone struggling with those 75-100' approach shots.

I bought this disc on a whim. I love my Zone and have always used it as my approach disc. I tried using the Rhyno and found that it was great for shots that need a tad more touch than I can handle with the Zone. It has quickly won its way into my bag and I throw it for my shorter approach shots. Plus, the R-Pro plastic and thumb groove feel so comfortable. Big fan of the Rhyno.

The Rhyno is a very unique disc, especially with the feel. However, it can be a very reliable throwing putter that resists turn without much glide. I've had an XT Rhyno for 3 years and it has beat in to a very trusty point and shoot disc for anything under 350.

I'm still learning to throw back handed well, so this is about the only disk I use back hand. I use it mainly as a mid-range to approach disk. It is very predictable, and works like a charm every time; however, I do recommend a heavier disc as my 166g Rhyno doesn't fight the wind well. The DX version rolls away from the pin a little too often, so I now use the Rhyno R-Pro.

I love that I can use this disc to just throw a great upshot right at the basket and know that it will just drop from the low glide rating that it has.

The Rhyno was one of those discs that revolutionized my game. I did a lot of research for a good forehand approach disc and this was the first one I tried. I will say the numbers seem pretty off. My Rhynos' (I have 5-6 and have lost a couple as well) are straight shooting and really powered up even have a little turn. The Rhyno stays where it lands. I would highly recommend this to all players and have dreams of finding a flat Rhyno in premium plastic.

Putting: Not as shallow as a Colt but not as deep as a P2 or Firefly. Somewhere in the middle and that fits my hand very well. The lack of glide makes the Rhyno very reliable in the wind and very consistent inside circle one. Not a great outside the circle putter, though. That lack of glide leaves you really juicing up runs and trying to muscle a hit. Better to keep this for inside of 20 feet or so and use a disc with more glide for longer tries.

Throwing: an absolute dream. Great with a fan or power grip. The thumb track really gives you something to hold onto when using a power grip. A straight, consistent flight that will reliably fade at the end. Perfect for short approaches but also amazing for drives. The stability and lack of glide allows you to put a ton of heat behind it but never get too out of place.

not what i was expecting at all. i was looking for a combination brick/meathook. what i got was a very straight low glide disc with a solid fade that sits extremely well when it touches down.  so i didn't get what i wanted but i go something i am learning to really like.

For me, I'd call the Rhyno more of a speciality putter, as it's not the mainstream putter you may be used to. Not everyone will like the Rhyno, but for the specific crowd, these are pretty great.

First off, they are a good reliable putter for drives or upshots, especially in the wind. They don't have a lot of glide, so put the disc on target and let it go. When throwing the Rhyno flat, I never had one turn over on me in the slighest. They will fall pretty quick, but it's also useful to have this type of putter in the bag. On those windy days, especially if you putt with a hyzer normal putter, the wind will pick it up and you'll miss the basket completely. This would be a situation I'd pull out the Rhyno.

For me, I have a really hard time forehanding standard putters. If I do, they are super wobbly. The Rhyno is the exception to this, as it can handle my forehands well.

Give the Rhyno a shot, and it will find a place in your bag.

Use a 175g Rhyno (Gummy Champion) as my main putter. Inside the circle as a push putt and outside with I pull-across spin putt. Hit a 75-footer around the a tree with it this week so it deserves a solid review.

Originally got it to use mainly as a tomahawk approach that slides on the flight plate to the basket, but didn't know (at the time) that a more overstable discs flips slower.

SO, once it's gotten colder Ive liked the plastic appose to DX and Pro-D that's slippery while it's cold.

While putting, mine has noticeability more glide then 2, could be the plastic, not sure.

Nice overstable flight on drives and putts alike.

    Also dig the thum trac.

Pick one up. I you don't like it, give it a lil time...still dont?- I'm sure someone you know will.

I love my R-pro Rhynos. It's shallow and gummy which work great for my spin-push combo putt. It holds a great hyzer line into the basket and is rarely affected by a headwind. I've have 2 dedicated putters and one thrower. My thrower has a small bit of turn at high speeds into a headwind but always dumps left at the end.
