The Rhyno is a popular slow-flying overstable putter with very little glide. This disc features a Thumbtac groove that helps provide excellent grip and controlled shots. The overstable nature of this disc makes it good for headwinds and short drives where you don’t want to overshoot the basket.

    Pro Details

Innova Pro Line uses a special blend of plastics that provide unique qualities for each disc model. The different blends of Pro Line plastic produce discs with a wide range of rigidity from extremely soft to firm and stiff.

Pro plastic is more durable than DX, and provides a better grip than Champion Plastic. Discs in pro plastic tend to be slightly more understable than counterparts of the same mold in other premium plastic blends.

The Rhyno has a very special place in my heart, having owned it in all but Champ plastic. Some say it is not a good putting putter, but i disagree. It's over stable consistency and lack of glide is exceptional for putting in my opinion because you know what you're gonna get. Also, love it for dicey jump puts because you can depend on it to not fly away on you like even wizards have had the tendancy to do if you get a little nose up or with wind. I will jump this thing from 120 ft sometimes for approaches and a half-run of sorts.

However, these truly shine for approaches. Once again, lack of glide makes it so trustworthy FH or BH. Hold a great anny flick shape for technical approaches, and you can definitely put some juice on it backhand for spikes.

My one vice is that I wish it wasn't my main first putter because it's speed/glide combo allows you to muscle it more than other putters. This has led me to struggle sometimes driving with other putters.

My overstable side of my bag goes Boss, Firebird, Buzz OS, Rhyno. That might give you some insight on the role it fits when I'm not putting with it.
